Carl is an excellent personal trainer. His gym is spotless and he knows his stuff. I really like that there is a shower available for me to use when I have to go back into work as well.

Q&As

Our philosophy about personal training and wellness is about cultivating you physically, mentally and spiritually – and finding your inner strengths so that you can begin the lifelong journey of living a healthier lifestyle. We don’t destroy your self confidence through loud and rude behavior or train you to the point of exhaustion.

Being consistence and having you understand that you didn't get your current body overnight. It will take some time depending on your past history of training.
But you will see changes in as little as 30 days for some individuals.

All the different people I meet on a daily bases who are looking for accountability with their wellness programs.

I wanted to help individuals with their health and wellness goals in life.

At Fit for Life you are embraced as a member of our family. As a member, you are provided with the highest quality of customer service as you travel on your journey towards living a healthier lifestyle.

Services

At Fit for Life, we don’t subscribe to the latest fitness fads, but design a custom fitness program geared toward you reaching your fitness goals. If you have a chronic health condition such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity or other concerns, we can develop a program to help you improve your health conditions.

So you don’t have 60 minutes to workout due to a busy schedule or other commitments? What do you do? The American College of Sports Medicine recommends 30 minutes of exercise each day to gain health benefits and reduce the risk for chronic disease. There are no more excuses with our 30-minute workout. This program is an effective workout for 30 minutes which burns mega calories.

Don’t want to work-out alone? Well, we have a program for two called Semi-Private Training. This program is budget-friendly, which will allow a dramatic savings on your training sessions. You can either choose a partner or we can provide a training partner with the same skill level. This program provides extra motivation and positive energy to all individuals involved.

Twenty-three percent of the U.S. population will be over the age of 65 by the year 2050. This is the fastest growing segment of the population.

As more individuals are living longer, the need to stay active and have the ability to move with limited pain and flexibility is essential to living a healthier lifestyle.

Our senior movement program helps slow down the aging process and assists older adults in living a more enjoyable active lifestyle.

The Movement Program focuses on activities for cardiovascular endurance, muscular strengthening and flexibility. By achieving healthy lifestyle habits and discouraging negative excessive behavior, we can lower health care costs and the need to be functionally independent as long as possible.

Research has shown that with daily exercise and good nutrition, a senior can experience good health and vitality for the duration of their life.

There is strength in numbers. This is why our small group training program is great for three to five individuals. It’s just like working out one-on-one with a personal trainer, but in a small group with individuals who motivate and inspire each other. Some of the advantages of our small group trainings are:

Energetic and fun
Cost efficient
Accountability
More training sessions
Affordable monthly payments
Personal attention
Complete resistance, cardio and nutrition guidance program
This is a great way to get personal training at an affordable cost. You will also have a lot of fun with individuals who have common fitness interests.

You have just finished a rehabilitation program with a physical therapist. What do you do to make sure you don’t re-injure yourself again?

Continue to improve your rehabilitation with a program structured to work on the limitations you may have after a completed physical therapy program.

Our post-rehabilitation program focuses on developing exercises for musculoskeletal and cardiovascular disorders.

Our modality is exercise that produces functional improvements in the following areas:

Range of Motion (ROM) and flexibility
Power
Strength
Proprioception
Balance
Muscle fiber recruitment
Endurance
Joint stability
Coordination
We will work with your physician or physical therapist to help you achieve your goals set by your health care professional.

The skyrocketing cost to provide healthcare for employees has many companies searching for strategies to control this run-away train. United States corporations lose over $300 billion annually in productivity due to illness, sick days, absenteeism and chronic diseases.

With nearly 70 percent of all American adults classified as overweight or obese and only 15 percent of the adult population engaging in any regular, vigorous physical activity, Corporate America has reached a pinnacle with controlling healthcare costs. One strategy is to take a preventative approach by focusing on providing corporate wellness programs.

Company funded wellness programs will send a clear message to employees that management values them and their well-being. Additionally, healthier employees will influence the bottom line in the following areas:

Improved health care costs
Increased employee productivity
Decreased rate of illness and injury
Reduce absenteeism
Enhanced recruitment and retention of healthy employees
Improved professional image
Increased profits

Fit for Life will help you with developing a sound nutrition program producing positive results. Our programs focus on frequencies and understanding the importance of macronutrients and how moderation and timing is the key to weight loss or body toning.
