How long have you been in business?
I started Zap Property Preservation in 2012. I opened the company with my son who was an injured veteran, purple heart recipient. He has moved on to work with horses and veterans in Quincy, California. I have restructured my business with my partner Keri, calling it Clean Team.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We bring our own equipment and supplies, however if you have animals, We would prefer to use your vacuum cleaner.
What do you love most about your job?
We love helping people find more time to do fun and exciting things in their lives. If we are able to free up your time to spend more valuable moments with your children or spend the time developing yourself, then you will be happier. This is gratifying to us.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted my son to come home from the military with a job. We created our company while he was deployed and collaboratively knew we wanted something different.
We had a vision to build a business where staff felt supported and respected. We provide excellent training to team members. We want staff to feel totally equipped to provide customers with excellent service.
We also knew that time was a valuable commodity and we wanted to help customers find a way to get back time that they would otherwise loose.
