We eloped in Burlington, Vermont this past weekend and it was AMAZING! I was referred to Meredith Clayton of Clayton Floral for flowers by Sarah, wedding coordinator at Indigo Salon. I was told she's local, grows most of her own flowers and She's great!
I was thrilled to learn that she was available the day of my wedding, 12 July 2019.
Meredith and I only spoke a few times a few weeks before my big day, but I felt we became not only fast friends, but seemed like long time friends. She was warm, friendly, professional and easy to talk with, for sure.
She listened while I stumbled along sharing no clear particular idea of what I wanted for my arrangements.
The next time we spoke was two days before the wedding when I was at the airport as we were flying up from Sarasota, Florida. Basically, I shared that I trusted in her to use her talents, skills and gifts to create three beautiful bouquets that say summer in Burlington, Vermont!
Well, I'm so delighted and thrilled to share that Meredith did an outstanding job! The flowers were delivered to our hotel first thing Friday morning, the day of our wedding. Mind you, she does the floral arrangements at the Marriott and so they know her, her character and her work.
My flowers were above and beyond my dreams. They were bright, happy, colorful, and wonderfully aromatic. In addition, they were perfectly wrapped for us to easily carry and lasted beautifully for our Friday evening ceremony.
The flowers were a fabulous selection because they still looked amazing two days later not to mention they brightened up our room and added a sweet, lovely smell too!
And as far as pricing, I believe she fairly matched her flowers and talent with what she delivered... Three beautiful bouquets that said summer in Burlington, Vermont!
I highly recommend you to consider, if not hire right now, Meredith of Clayton Floral as your florist!

What can we say? Meredith Clayton met and exceeded by far all of our expectations and hopes! We had seen some of her work on Instagram, and loved what we saw. If there was any question, it was because prior to our wedding her website did not reveal the extent of her capabilities and we were not able to find many reviews. When we saw her arrangements the day of our wedding, every shadow of a doubt was erased and we were blown away. She had managed to capture the beauty, elegance, vibrancy, and simplicity that we were looking for. The colors, the arrangements, the containers…every aspect was done with mastery. Meredith’s approach is personal and relaxed, which made for comfortable communication and a non-stressful experience all around. All of the arrangements- centerpieces, bouquets, hair wreaths, boutonnieres, arbor, etc.- were stunning & classy, and exceeded our expectations. We can’t recommend Clayton Floral enough!
