The food was excellent! I had the Monster Bone-In Loin. It was a monster to be sure. I enjoyed the unexpected sweetness from the glaze. It penetrated all the way through the meat. went there twice first time we got seated and not one person came to our table for half an hour second time got seated ordered our food after 45 min I asked what was going on with our order they lost our ticket and told us our food would be another 20/30 min walked out again never go back there

My husband n I just tried Clayton's for the first time a couple weeks ago and were disappointed!! Took about 30 minutes to be waited on after we were seated, then another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and when they came out they were luke warm at best. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it came to me so charred that was all you could taste was the charred grill flavor. I did not eat it and brought these problems up to our server, the only thing he did was say "Sorry" and went on his way. The bill that day was around $70 as my husband had the prime rib. So when you first open back up from Covid I was so excited cause I just love this place. I got my bill and was so upset. I was charged extra for the price of meat going up without being told. I swore I would never come back even though this has been a favorite of mine. I have not been back since May. I decided to come In tonight (made sure I was not being charged extra) when we walked in the door the host was so very sweet and knew her job. She seated us and told us our wonder waiter would be Nick. She was not lying. Nick was absolutely the most sweetest waiter. He never missed a beat. He was on top of it all. He did not leave us sitting, he had our order in and out delicious as always. Talk About someone that knows there job and to keep customers happy and coming back! Thank you Nick for being so awesome and taking care of us on this rainy gloomy night. You made it a wonderful night for us. Continue the amazing work you do. Wow! picked my super up at your drive threw. i had the ribs, a sweet potato with butter and brown sugar and a salad. The ribs were fabulous! i didn't even put sauce on them. The sweet potato was the biggest i have ever seen and the salad was nice and crisp! your staff is super friendly! with the current situation of lockdown we called and ordered a pick up. was ready in 15 mins like they said. ordered 3 pulled pork sandwiches which had a lot of meat and tasted amazing! for sides we had mac and cheese, fries, and brisket chili! We had the chips for an appetizer, so delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich with cottage cheese and fries and my wife had a smoked turkey sandwich with a salad and green beans. Portions were great and the flavors were awesome, actually was licking my fingers at the end of my meal.
