Our family thoroughly enjoyed working with Ms. Alena. My kid made amazing progress under her instruction, passing Trinity’s piano performance assessments twice in a row with distinction in less than a year. She is very professional and organized - you can tell that from how she structures the class and how neatly she writes her class notes. She is gentle and patient and simultaneously firm and has high expectations. She always assigns the most beautiful and challenging pieces that fit just right. She is a terrific performer herself. I loved hearing her introductory demonstrations of all the new pieces. We would have enthusiastically continued with Ms Alena had she not relocated. More...
