I'm a happy hour guru & classic eats is one of the best happy hours around the town. Happy Hour all day every day in the bar! Affordable classic good eats! Great customer service and hospitality! The owner was amazing & he's from the Bayou! That should tell you enough about the food at the restaurant . My party ordered beef nachos (lot of food! great quality nachos for a game or appetizer) , mango habanero wings (not super spicy so the mango and heat go together perfectly 10/10, Caesar salad was spectacular, and last but not least the Shrimp Po Boy. Second time going to classic eats today and it was great! Had dinner for a birthday and our server was very helpful in holding the presents and bringing out the cake we had bought after dinner. My sales team & I wanted to go out to eat lunch. We decided to try Classic Eats in Burien, in which my colleague recommended the philly prime rib sandwich. The sandwich comes w/ jack cheese, jalapeno cream sauce, onions, red & green peppers, topped w/ a hoagie roll. The sandwich also comes w/ a choice of sides, in which I chose the sweet potato fries.Being presented w/ the dish, everything looked well-crafted on the plate. The sweet potatoes were crispy, & the sandwich tasted great. The customer service was also kind & friendly as well. However, since the first time I went to this restaurant to writing this review, I ended up going here again one more time & the customer service was terrible. Might have just been the time of day during my last experience but was very jarring compared to the first time I went back in September.At the end of the day, this restaurant is a great place to try out in the location it is in. I rarely go to Burien but this is something I would recommend to someone not familiar w/ the area. More...

So brunch here is amazing, and it's not just because of the drinks (although those are good too). Try the grits or the biscuits and gravy, it's some of the best breakfast in Burien.

This restaurant has delicious food, on the spendier side, and pretty decent service. Our last visit we were left wanting as we were totally ignored for about ten minutes after being seated. After somebody finally acknowledged us in passing, it was about another 6-7 minutes before a server showed up to take our drink order. By that time, we were ready to order our meal. Wait time for our drinks and meal were adequate, but once the food was dropped off, we never saw our server again, until we had been finished with our meal for at least ten minutes. We ordered dessert, again, delivered within a reasonable amount of time. Long after we were through with dessert and past time we were ready to leave, we finally had to ask someone to find our server for our check. We left comment cards, handed straight to a manager. Before we could leave, the manager found us and apologized, but nothing more was said ie: please try us again, we can do better. Just 'sorry you had this experience, we try not to let this happen'. I do recommend this place for good food and (usually) good atmosphere, but feel the service can be spotty and the wait staff tend to look down their noses at some of the customers More...

We love classic eats! They have a beautiful patio for the summer, huge seating inside and also have a banquet room available. The menu is huge! If you are trying to eat healthy but also have a friend who wants comfort food then this is your place! The menu has something for everyone! Tht decor is super cute with it's classic theme.The owner Tony is usually there. He is just a super genuine human being that loves what he does. he also goes the extra mile to make sure that your experience was amazing.We have never had a bad experience at classic eats and are always looking forward to our next meal at classic eats! We agree with the reviews posted that the food is good as is the service.  Torstan helped us last night and he was so friendly and made the experience exceptional.  He recommended a few options for me based on what I was looking for and shared a bit of extra information to personalize the experience.  We also took them up on the all you can eat fish and chips special they do on Monday nights.  We will certainly be returning here.  My husband is still talking about the lavender martini! Absolutely love this restaurant! Located in a small strip of restaurants and bars in downtown Burien. Great environment with full bar and dining area. Large artwork, "the classics," line the walls of the dining area. Parking located behind the restaurant with a rear entrance. The staff has been awesome each time I've visited. Even the manager was out greeting customers. All of the food has been GREAT. I've tried the cob salad, blackened chicken pasta and the chicken Parmesan have been awesome. I love classic eats, their breakfast is amazing! However, I wish they served breakfast after 2pm :( ... My fav dish is; Eggs Benedict with Spinach. My lunch fav is the Lemon Salmon, it's juicy with the right crisp. As for dinner I'm lovin that meat loaf! Great place to eat. Had the half chicken and mashed potatoes. Was way more than I could eat so will have a 2nd meal. Their Baja gravy was very tasty but just a bit too spicy for me. They were very busy and was trying to let the kitchen catch up a bit but were great on keeping us posted. I appreciated that. My son had one of the burgers and said it was awesome.
