I am so happy that I chose DJ Chuck as our wedding DJ while planning our wedding from start to finish! He was literally a needle in a haystack but I went out on a limb and I’m so grateful and satisfied that I went with him! He was just a tad out of our price range, but I swear his planning, constant communication, and performance was worth every single penny spent! He always responded to my questions/concerns in a timely manner, he called me before the wedding to confirm all details, and help me plan out my timeline perfectly, he went above and beyond to help my dad and i with a slideshow to play during dinner (which everyone loved!), he showed up early on the day of and set up quickly, he mastered the custom ceremony music, and absolutely rocked the reception!!! Literally the BEST DJ ever. The way he customizes your playlist and makes sure everything is in order. He was worth every penny. In trying to save money where we could, our original plan was to play a Spotify playlist and have a friend or two MC for us during our ceremony. However, less than a month before the wedding we got cold feet on that plan and rushed to find a DJ to take care those duties at hopefully an affordable price point. Enter DJ Chuck.From the get-go, Chuck and his services were exactly what we were looking for. As a couple planning their own wedding, we had run into unresponsive vendors (the worst) and always looked for someone who could answer our 1,001 questions in a timely manner in order for us to plan accordingly. Chuck was not only responsive, he was extremely fast in getting back to us and answered all of our questions and more, so we knew we had to have him at our wedding. It was the best decision ever to go with Chuck. Some additional highlights of his services included the following: -Chuck gave us a survey to fill out so he could get to know our music tastes and our personalities as a couple. The Maid of Honor rapped to “the Fresh Prince of Bel Air” for her speech and our friends pulled together a flash mob for us. Both were surprises to us and Chuck accommodated both requests with ease. - In the process of searching for a DJ, we learned that the DJ is vastly important during the reception as the point person for both the catering and photo/video perspective. He is the one who helps keep the timing on track and is key to making sure the evening flows well. Words will not adequately describe the experience we all had during our wedding! I wish I could play parts of the video :) We were beyond pleased with DJ Chuck. Your DJ can make or break a wedding so I researched and researched well ahead of my wedding to find the perfect one. I am so glad because we found him. I looked at all the reviews from as many different sites that I could find and DJ Chuck Johnson kept coming out ahead. He is extremely fast at responding and the information he provided through his emails leading up to the big day were golden nuggets! I'd been a bridesmaid in many weddings but didn't even think about some of the things he had suggested. As all the other reviewers wrote, so many guests came up to me to tell me how amazing he was. The dance floor was NEVER even close to empty. I was also out there the whole time! I couldn't help myself! He knew the crowd so well and we had not only the older generations there but had many pre teens/teens at the wedding as well. They had the time of their life! It was so perfect. Chuck Johnson hosted our wedding on April 20. He was very professional and courteous, and worked with me to make sure the reception would flow perfectly. We didn’t have a coordinator and I was worried this might lead to a clumsy reception or some missed details but Chuck stepped up and made sure everyone in the wedding party knew what was happening and coordinated with the photographer as well. He was the perfect host for the evening.The music was great and he got everyone up to dance.
