The description didn't mention the orange bitters or orange zest so I sent it back. To my surprise, the bartender came out to discuss what I didn't like about my drink so she could make the next one perfect for me. She was friendly and chatty. After removing the orange, it was perfect. It was also strong, bonus! One of the greatest French Dips that's ever been shared with the world. Loaded with juicy beef and perfectly grilled onions. Just the right amount of cheese and a ton of spicy horseradish. We came on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy. I had 2 happy hour drinks that were really good. The service was ok. They forgot chicken with my pasta, and didn't check on me after 5 minutes like at other places. So after 15 mins I had to flag down the bartender. The pasta was delicious though! The wait after ordering was pretty long, probably because of the time to make my chorizo stuffed chicken. My food was amazing! Chicken was moist and the sauce was excellent. The only down side this time was that my wife's burger and fries weren't timed right with my food, so it was done well before mine and cooled down. Absolutely amazing food. I had the short rib on a bed of polenta and it was outstanding! Polenta was seasoned so well and so creamy; short rib was so tender that I didn’t even need a knife. Amazing food and drinks. I recommend the PB and J burger. I know it sounds gross but it's surprisingly good. Creamy peanut butter, amazing jelly, juicy hamburger Patty, buttery buns, and to top it off bacon. You can also just get the PB and J sandwich which still has bacon on it just no patty if you want. We were very pleased with Clarks today. We went for breakfast. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. Huge pancakes. Good cocktails. Yes I drink cocktails before noon. Someone ordered chicken fried steak which I was jealous of but it was just too early for me to eat so much food. They have a 'trash plate' which sounds like it includes all breakfast items in one meal. That may be fun to share with someone next time. Hopefully it won't be to long before I go back. Oh and our server was lovely I believe named Erin.*editWent back for brunch and were told the back area was closed. 3 folks in our group had burgers; all were very pleased. Lots of variety and combo options. I had a Reuben; the meat was tender and flavorful (a bit too much bread for my liking, so I pulled off the top layer and made it open face).
