I am writing this review with the full knowledge of the owners. Kelley handled my wedding last weekend, March 29, 2014. My mom posted a a poor review on this website that was deleted by today. I am extremely displeased with the job they did. They paid very little attention to our tastes and personalities. Their communication was minimal and nonexistent at times. The ceremony took place at The Court of Two Sisters. We didn't have a wedding party and were looking forward to a fun party. I was assured several times by Kim at the rehearsal that someone would be there to crack the whip for the procession. However, this did not happen at all. No one told me where to go and when to walk out. I stood in the courtyard doorway for several moments asking many times if I should walk out yet and not a soul from the company told me to go, wait, or be patient. As a result, because people could see me, I just went ahead and walked out after standing like a dope in the doorway. The band didn't start playing until I was almost at the alter. And no one stood up. It was extremely weird. In the end, we had a blast of a wedding but it was no thanks to Clandestine. This was just one example of many where my family was guaranteed certain services by Clandestine staff that they just couldn't get their act together and deliver. New Orleans is a well-oiled machine when it comes to weddings. Hiring a planner is really not necessary unless you are absolutely so far away you can't visit the city several times before your wedding. Everyone was nice but there was a lot of lip service and big talk with no fulfillment of promises on the back end. Money very poorly spent. More...
