Ambitiously (read: foolishly), my fiancé and I decided to throw reason to the wind and have our engagement photos taken on a crisp, 10 degree December day. Chris was up for the task, never backing down, and found all the great outdoor shots for us around Indianapolis while smartly interweaving some excellent indoor shots and Union Station and the like to keep us from going full on hypothermic. Any photographer who manages to keep his subjects looking happy, and even warm, on a -14 degree wind chill day deserves some special recognition. That being said, we were more than just subjects to Chris. He took the time to get to know us and learn our personalities before the shoot, and I feel like that really reflected in his excellent work. We went to CK for our family photos and the whole experience was great! Chris was marvelous! The location he took us to was beautiful with the changing leaves and the river in the background. Chris was so easy to work with. We had senior pics done for my son and scheduling was easy, we got the proofs back quickly and re-touching was first rate. CK Photography shot my wedding at the end of August and I am so thrilled with the photographs. Chris was able to capture really special moments. Every time I flip through the photos, I find another one that I am absolutely in love with, from the lighting to the composition. Chris was easy to work with and I appreciated having his female assistant to shoot my bridesmaids and me getting ready before the ceremony.
