CityVet Ruffit Oak Lawn

My dog Halo is a very special pup. I know we all say that but it’s true grin. Halo is a deaf albino and has epilepsy. The staff at Ruffit have taken the time to learn to communicate with Halo and when he had a seizure stayed with him and held him. Took my Shih Tzu in for grooming! The groomer came out and asked me what I wanted and I described what I wanted to her. She was not in position to understand me clearly but eventually she agreed to shave him due to his knots. I was aware of the knots he had which is why I agreed. I normally leave his ears and tail without cutting (maybe just a trim). His ear was not knitted, since I brush his ears daily. I picked him up after and all of the hairs in his ears are shaved. This was u unacceptable. I called to voice my concern, I was told by the manager that this was done for the health of the dog. This was after putting me on hold for 10-15 minutes and “investigating” the issue. I have taken my pet in for grooming and he has had knots before but they have never removed his hair from his ears. All I wanted was an apology when I called, but I was not given that and unfortunately you lost my business! More...
