We just had dinner for the first time at Circa and it was fantastic! Great ambiance, busy and bustling, service was friendly and food and drinks came out in a timely manner. My wife and I go here all the time as it is only 5 minutes from our house. That said, Circa is undoubtedly the only restaurant in this area that would justify a commute from Nashville if we didn't live here. Amazing spot for a date night, or just dinner in general. We had dinner on New Year's Eve with another couple last year, and the food never disappoints. The Ribeye is my favorite here, and is absolutely in the top 1 or 2 ribeyes that I've ever had. In fact it's so good, it is difficult trying anything else. We like how the menu changes seasonally while keeping the staples available, and there's a good selection for the kids, as well. Thompson's Station's best restaurant by a long shot. We love it and come often. Great menu and great cocktails. We've had great experiences every time. It's a touch loud (some acoustic treatment would be nice) and the takeout bags are essentially just grocery bags. Incredible experience! The wait staff was friendly and did a fantastic job with service and recommendations. We got the gnocchi appetizer and it was a flavor explosion and the ribeye steak with the cowboy butter was incredible. We will be going back! We had reservations and I'd recommend doing that, by the time we left it was packed with a wait (well deserved because of the food and dinning experience.) it can get noisy/loud at times, but it was fantastic! We've tried Circa several times. Each time it's been different. Sometimes we get great service other times we have to hunt down our server. (Even when there's only 4 tables sat in the whole place) Food has been 'eh. Nothing to rave about, especially for their prices. Circa has the best Southern food I have ever eaten. Seriously. This place is so authentic and has so many delicious options, I didn't know where to start. I highly recommend the Hot Chicken Sandwich, it's one of the best. I also have to give props to our waiter Chase, who was super friendly, accommodating and professional. We had a wonderful dinner date for 2 at Circa. The intimate space has a historic vibe. It is not huge but they manage it well with reservations. The food was creative and excellent. Me and my significant other arrived around 7 PM last night to eat supper.After the hostess finally appeared after 5 minutes she acted like we weren't even standing there (right in the front door). I asked her how long the wait for 2 was and she Informed me that they were booked up for the night but she could sit me on the patio which we were fine with because it wasn't to chilly and we wanted some good food! So she sits us down on the front patio literally FRONT AND CENTER of the restaurant and that was the last we heard from anyone. Two separate waiters actually came out and cleaned off the other tables that were around us but not one person there ever even attempted to take our drink order or even speak/look at us. Reservations made, arrived on time. The hostess walked right by us and didn't say one word. She was chatting with someone who she might have been training? ? Anyway after she ignored us for a minute she finally acknowledged we were standing there and seated us. Our server was not impressive at all! It's our anniversary!! It was on the reservation!! Did not even bring my husbands drink he ordered!! In fact when our entrees arrived he mentioned it and the guy had no clue! Great food!! Wow! Y'all were not kidding. Went there on a Sunday night and ordered more food than we should have. Boy o boy was it great. The 'garlic' pretzels as an appetizer, the 'hot chicken sandwich' to share at the table, and the mac and brisket... MOUTH WATERING AS I WRITE THIS. They even had wine from Paso Robles (best California wine area there is imo). Waiters were excellent! Only one complaint. We wanted a booth and were told they are reserved for larger parties. Atmosphere is relatively Spartan, but the food is excellent at $50 per person... Better than what I had in downtown Nashville for $150 a person! So, not cheap, but real good.

What a gem. Visiting from out of state, delighted to find this place a bit out of the busy urban scene for dinner. The red snapper entree was delicious, the hot chicken sandwich spicy and tasty. The salads were fresh and inventive, and the pork belly small plate and ratatouille side artfully prepared and tasty.
