What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy helping businesses learn how to market themselves online and increase their profits via online advertising. Most agencies do very little to educate their clients, but I enjoy taking the time to ensure my clients understand how online advertising, SEO and Google Analytics work, what is being done on their behalf, and how we can work together to develop an effective marketing plan to achieve their goals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I founded the Cincinnati I-marketing Group in 2000 as a networking and discussion group for discussing issues related to Internet marketing. In 2002, I began working in my spare time as an Internet marketing consultant and in 2004 decided to expand my business into a full-time Cincinnati internet marketing agency serving firms looking to generate more sales or sales leads from their websites. Many of my clients are not large enough to take on a full-time Internet marketing manager or have a marketing “agency of record”, so hiring my agency is an excellent lower-cost alternative.
