The reservation was read as scheduled for a Friday night. I found the service to be excellent, the food to be quite good, and the price to be agreeable. The portion was describe to be "a lot of food" and while that is subjective, I found the potion size to be just right. I had the pollo parmigiano with iced tea. My wife had the avocado toast (her personal favorite) and the chicken picata with iced tea. While I enjoy Italian cuisine, it is her favorite. Despite this she enjoyed her time and meal...as did I. The food and service were outstanding. I'd give 5 stars based on those factors alone. My single knock against this place is that it was so insanely crowded and the tables are way too close together, so we were packed in like sardines. That said, I had the Tonno all' Aglio Dolce and my wife had the Filetto al Porcini. Both were outstanding, as was the Carpaccio appetizer. Went to this place by chance, we didn't have a reservation or anything and they took us right in. The restaurant side is kind of small and you sit right next to the next table almost as if there part of your group. We could have gotten a table in the center and it would have been a little more private but it was still nice. I must say at first it seemed like it took a little long for our server but I understand they were busy and really it wasn't long I'm just impatient. Our server introduced himself and made you feel at home. He was very good about telling us specials and starting us off. We ordered a appetizer which was Calamari and shrimp. So we get the appetizer and it all Calamari and 3 yes 3 shrimp What really I asked our server and he did tell us that was correct but really it should have said just Calamari. Was disappointed with that but it was good. We ordered our meals 1 Fillet and Pasta Primavera with seasonal veggies. The Fillet was cooked perfect and very tender. The Primavera on the other hand was like they took whatever veggies and just threw it together. Celery? Never had celery in Primavera wasn't good at all. We or I did mention this to our server and he was willing to make something else to make it right but we didn't want to. Oh and at the end when he brought the check he did put a dessert Tiramisu in the bag at no charge it was very good! Overall I would go back it was good. First of all this place is very good, I was reading reviews and I must say something about people complaining not getting soup or salad with meal. I am from Europe and had chance to visit Italy on many occasions, and this place is trying to deliver that authentic experience. It’s not common in the rest of the world to eat chips and sandwich, to get bacon with tuna salad, and 3 appetizers for free with meal. Picture this: The CEO of your $1.5 billion company is in town to visit a local plant and the management group. Where do you take him and 35 of the local management. Fortunately our US VP knew Ciao Bella. Now add to that the CEO is French and very busy so taking a long time for dinner is not going to work. Fortunately our US CEO knew Ciao Bella. Now add to that throughout dinner the CEO is shaking his head and commenting "this is really good food" in that surprised tone someone who considers Michelin Star restaurants his "comfort food" uses when he finds excellent quality prepared perfectly.I have sat through countless slow group dinners even with set menus. In this case we had an individual appetizer dish with calamari, salsiccia, and bruschetta. Then choice of a salad, a trio of pasta, then three choices of entree, plus dessert. There was no delay between courses, the servers and kitchen coordinated in a way I have never seen and all the food was hot and perfectly prepared, including the filet mignon (which the CEO had, as did I). Plus a great wine.This restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall and obviously chooses to spend their money on quality food and service rather than a fancy exterior. Inside is comfortable and even in the large back room reasonably quiet. The bar area looks great and comfortable even for the solo traveler.I would make a special trip here for myself again if I write in the area. In fact I would take an Uber so I could do some wine sampling because the list looked very good and the owner was doing a tasting the night we were there. Considering I usually take the closest non-corporate food I can find to my hotel, that is the highest praise I can give a restaurant.Congratulations to the owner and staff.
