What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Properly feeding the crowd and feeling out what works. Each crowd is different, so this is always a welcome challenge.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I enjoy using the mic to engage the crowd, but I don't go overboard. I transition music by blending, scratching, and using effects.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy playing good music for people from all different types of backgrounds, including hip-hop, classic rock, afro beats, soul, and other genres.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been doing this for years as a side job because I enjoy doing it, which I think makes all the difference.

You'll get someone who does their research and cares about music and people. Preparation beforehand includes reaching out to find out those special songs needed for the event.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I've been boosted and wear a mask without issue. If a customer has rules in place, they will be followed.

DJ Flashback is a true music connoisseur in that he has a passion for all types of different music from Classic Rock to Jazz and everything in between. Flashback purchased his first set of turntables in high school, and that since that time, has enjoyed entertaining crowds at corporate events, private parties, and wedding receptions. Flashback is versatile and experienced at playing many different genres of music, tailored for your event. He was once blessed to open for the vocalist extraordinaire, Regina Belle. His preferred event involves playing the classics amongst several genres (Hip-Hop, Rock, and R&B). Last, Flashback is consummate professional.
