"Dry Cut Sherman Oaks".  Those four words led me to Christina and she is amazing. I was looking for someone who could correct my curly hair, which I hadn't cut in almost two years.  (Please don't judge LOL) Not only did I find a wonderful stylist who can cut my hair  so that I can wear it curly, wavy or straight, but she also manages my color now, too. I had been looking for a great hairstylist in the LA area when I was referred to Christina by a friend. Well, I was not disappointed. ..she was AWESOME!! Â Not only was she super friendly and sweet, but after showing her a few pictures of what I had in mind, she gave me the cutest haircut that looked even BETTER than the pictures I had shown her! Tape in extensions are where its at! Over a year ago I ended up with a haircut that was too short and I've been growing it back out for a over a year, but after having to get multiple trims to get my hair back to one length left me having to keep getting cuts and leaving my hair barely below chin length. The texture of my hair is fine, so always having to style my shorter cut added to me having to get the dead ends trimmed often so I barely got any growth. I found Christina through a mutual friend and she told me about tape in extensions and how natural, non-damaging and easy they are to care for. I went for it and I'm hooked! I've never had extensions before so I had no idea what to even look in to. I have friends with them who have suffered major hair loss and breakage and that was not ever something I was willing to sacrifice for long hair. I've had my extensions for a month and a half now and just had my first re-tape yesterday -- my natural hair is healthy, not damaged, and GROWING (in inch or so since we first started)! Since I'm not so much styling my actual hair, the extension are protecting my own hair allowing it to grow without major heat damage from styling tools. I'm ecstatic. I visited Christina a few weeks ago to get tape-in hair extensions at her beautiful studio space in Salon Republic (Hollywood). She installed the extensions with detailed precision and customized them to blend naturally with my own hair. I'm thrilled with the results. Christina is the real deal. Â Also, she can read your mind, so that's a bonus. Â I had a pretty weird cut and color prior to my visit and she fixed it up better than I could have imagined! LOVE Christina!!! I was referred to her by a good friend of mine (who is really particular about his hair, being a hottie musician ; -) so I gave her a try and I couldn't be more pleased with my cut!!!I'd been blunt-cutting my own hair for the past year (I know!) due to my crazy schedule and lack of time to find someone new/fear of going to a new person and trusting them to layer the way I like.My fears were put to rest with Christina - she's super-sweet, listens to your "hairstory" and is open to see photos of how you'd like your hair. Â She spent a good amount of time fixing my home-do (while we had a great conversation) and giving me proper layers as I'd wanted and I finally feel good about my hair again...it's so much easier to deal with and I walked out of her (conveniently-located) salon with a big smile on my face because it was such a positive experience all-around :-)Thank you, Christina!!! What a great cut! Christina is so personable and professional. She listens to what you want, like and dislike. And she's super open to seeing inspiration photos, which not all stylists are! Finding a great hairstylist is not an easy task (at least not for me), but I got lucky when I found Christina! Christina's place at Salon Republic in Hollywood is right across the street from my workplace, which is initially what drew me in. From the moment I met Christina, she was super sweet and inviting. I knew I was in good hands. My last haircut experience left me with way too many short layers, which I REALLY dislike since layers make my fine hair appear even thinner. I didn't feel comfortable wearing my hair down anymore. I decided to get the short hair cut that's on trend right now, and Christina gave me exactly what I wanted! My hair now looks and feels so full and healthy. The best part, this cut requires minimal styling. I try not to use any heat on my hair, so I just twist my hair when it's wet, sleep on it, and voila - I wake up to beautiful, effortless hair (I didn't think it was possible!). After a week of trying out my new haircut "in the wild," I'm still so happy with it! And I've gotten lots of compliments. Christina, I'm so happy to have found you! More...

Christina is an awesome hairstylist! She's thorough and meticulous. I really felt like I was in good hands. As a bonus she gave me some dish on some of the celebrity's she has styled. Her Salon is convenient in the heart of Hollywood and she charges a reasonable rate. Plus she's a real people person and is very warm and inviting. I just love her! After many years here in L.A I finally found THE hairdresser that can do exactly what I want on my hair. Christina does my hair the last 2 years and it's been amazing experience. I've changed a few different haircuts and it was always successful. She also did my makeup for my photoshoots. Not to mention that she has done makeup/haircut for celebrities too, coz yeah we are in Hollywood! :) Christina just opened her new studio which is super cute in the heart of Hollywood, with easy access to parking lot. She also recommended me some hair products like shampoos, conditioners, hair mask, hair spray, and other products to style your hair, which are high quality unlike others which ruin your hair after a while. I strongly recommend Christina Culinski for any kind of hair treatment & consultation, modern look haircuts, short or long length, young or adults, and of course professionally done makeups.
