The urban sourdough bread is to die for, although all their breads are wonderful. All their desserts we've tried have been great. Their cakes and cupcakes are top-notch. I actually get occasional cravings for our Christie’s wedding cake. After our tasting, they were thorough in helping us refine our selection. On our big day in July we received nothing but compliments on the light and fluffy lemon cake with raspberry mousse and vanilla custard filling. My husband and I have even talked about ordering the same exact combo for our next special occasion!The cake was beautiful and a total hit, however oddly it appeared a little lopsided in almost every photo, including the professional images. We did not notice it in person but this makes me think that maybe there was a slight issue with the construction. Perhaps this was an exception and not the norm. Otherwise the naked icing was nicely done and the consistency and flavor divine. Conveniently, Christie’s works with Greens & Beans florist next door, simplifying our choice to have flowers on each tier. We had nothing but positive interactions with Cat and the rest of the staff and can’t wait to try some of their other goodies. More...

This is the best bakery in Hunterdon County! Desserts and breads are always delicious, and their lunches are superb. Prices are not cheap, but they are worth it for the quality of food you receive.
