Chris Renick accepts Cigna and Medicaid. Out-of-pocket is $100 per session, please ask about a sliding scale.

Chris Renick is a Master Level Intern. His hope as a counselor is to cultivate an environment full of support, empathy, and curiosity. He works with children, teens, young adults, adults and elders struggling with relationships, life transitions, spirituality, grief, loss, and professional development.

Chris's approach to therapy focuses on his relationship with clients and their stories. His theoretical lens emphasizes existential and narrative approaches. He contends that the way clients look at their stories may have gotten them to where they are now but can also hinder them from who they are becoming. Chris partner’s with clients, encouraging them to hear their own stories non-judgmentally in a way that supports and challenges basic assumptions and motivations.

Chris is under the supervision of Lexi Ellis, LPC. He is finishing up his master’s degree in clinical counseling at Denver Seminary. He is a member of the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society in the Delta Sigma Lambda chapter.
