I went there for a bridal shower and was very impressed with the restaurant, the food and their mimosas. Unfortunately you have to park across the street at a mini mall, because they don't have valet parking.

I went here for a drink after leaving another bar and found it to be a beautiful setting. My only drawback was the last call being 10pm on a Saturday. It’s definitely a more mature (read: wealthy) crowd. I had the white wine sangria and it was a little watered down. The staff was hospitable. The appetizer selection was high end in terms of style and ingredients (and not clearly listing a price because they’re just as expensive as all the other sit down restaurants in the area). It is indeed a lovely restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is very lavish and sophisticated, with cozy, warm and inviting decor. Now as far as the food goes, me and my gf were very impressed with the taste of the food there. We both went to eat steak specifically and we were not disappointed. I bought the skirt steak and my gf bought the sirloin steak. Although we were not disappointed with the foods flavor, we were very disappointed with the price. My skirt steak, hash browns and mushrooms were 30$ and it's not like it was a heaping plate of food, it was a 10oz steak with 2 ounces of hashbrowns maybe. My girlfriends sirloin, and steak fries were even more expensive at around 37$ or more, if I remember correctly. What i do definitely remember is that after tax, the whole meal came out to over 74$ for the both of us. I can't even say it was worth it because we've gone to applebees and outback steakhouse, where we've gotten steaks just as good and just as (if not more) filling compared to the steaks at Chop shop, and the total price for both of our meals together at different restaurants were around 30 to 40 dollars cheaper than Chop Shop too! The other foods on the menu are a little cheaper at 20$ or so, but if you went to other restaurants you could find those same dishes for cheaper as well. I say, if you want good steak but don't want to pay over 30$ for one, go to Applebees or Outback Steakhouse. But if you don't have an issue spending alot of money, go ahead and go here. More...

We wanted an early quiet dinner for New Years eve so I made a resrvs on Open Table. At first the hostess wanted to seat us in the bar area, on the opposite side of the wall to the restaurant seating. I'm not quite sure why she did this but I told her No. Ok, so we sat down and the place was nicely lit for the quiet lightly elegant ambiance. We chose from a standard menu with no jacked up pricing. I ordered short ribs, hubby ordered the Filet Minion. Our meals arrived and looked great. Food was fresh and hot, delicious was an understatement. I don't know how we missed this place before, I wish I had eaten here a hundred times before. It was one of the best dishes I've eaten all year. Hubby said the filet was perfect, seasoned well, the sides were amazing. The shocker is that the food was better than most 5-star restaurants I've been to and 30 % cheaper. This is a hidden gem. I would give Chop Shop 5 stars if it weren't for the noise level. The food and service are great, but they really need a sound barrier between the bar and the dining area. The fig martini is a must!
