Location was fantastic to do anything in town. We stayed there because we were going to see a show at the Boston Opera House. Great walking distance to the opera house- downtown crossing, fanuel hall and the public garden. Must try the Boston Cream Cake - hotel is known for this. Hotel staff was over the top nice and accommodating! More...

The place was very neat! Room was clean and tidy. Lady up front the night of our stay was wonderful and very accommodating. Only thing is, I used a gift card the next morning (as I was told to by the woman the night before), and the man up front was mostly nice, but oddly passive aggressive. Said a few things like "Thanks for adding five steps to my day" and "Thank you so much for putting me through that, I really appreciate it! Take Care!" Honestly, that may have been him just joking around, but it was still... Kinda odd. Overall, and besides that interaction, really nice place to stay. More...

Have stayed at this hotel numerous times the past 5 years, always an amazing experience. The bar is a great place to relax, the food is delicious. Great historical feel to the building in the rooms. The staff are extremely courteous and professional . Richard, J, and the rest of the staff at the Omni Parker do their best to accommodate all of their guests. Will definitely be returning multiple times in the future. More...

You can’t beat the location or the service. We LOVE the Omni Parker house with Fanuial Hall just a few blocks away. And great shopping right near by. Also the theater district within walking distance. While the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are dated so if that’s the most important thing to you, stay somewhere else.we think it adds to the charm but there are a few things that need upgrading in the rooms. The service is always amazing!! More...

Beautiful hotel. The Parker House is a well kept very ornate hotel with excellent service, valet parking & a lot of small extras. The folks working there were all great. The room though small was big enough for us, clean & cozy. If I stay in Boston again I'll stay there. More...

FOLLOW UP - After having met Elizabeth one of the managers, she turned my review around - She and the spirit she brings to the Parker House is what makes all the difference. .. This is an amateur-hour hotel. I highly recommend that you do not order room service - the milk was good but the burger and middle eastern platter ( other than whoever made the tabouli ) was absolutely terrible. You will be shocked at how limited the in room dining option is. The TV in the room needed to be replaced as it was non-functional. They do not answer the phones. The packages which I had shipped in advance to the hotel ) were not delivered for a couple of hours and I had to ask 3 times. They use the word apologize alot. The manager in charge offered to comp my room for the night which I declined and said that I wanted instead for service to be improved. Rooms are comfortable and great location but you should consider this a 2 or 3 star at best hotel. More...

It's historical & as I learned from the front desk, it is Boston's oldest hotel.Hotel's interior is quite traditional & you can feel you are in early 1900 when you are in the lobby. Since it's an old hotel, rooms also resemble old style. My room was clean & spacious but the bathroom & furniture were quite old. If rooms can be upgraded, it will be great for guests.Hotel staff is very friendly and the bar is also good. The location of the hotel is really great & there are lots of options for food, groceries & pharmacy in walking distance. If you don't want to dine in to try the famous Boston Cream Pie, you can get a mini one to go from Morsel's Gift Shop. I couldn't find any signs indicating that this store was indeed Morsel's, but just know that it's attached to the Omni Parker Hotel (it also has an entrance from the sidewalk). The cakes are located at the Starbucks inside the gift shop. The full size Boston Cream Pie is $50, but the mini one is only $10. The cake was good but wasn't as mind-blowing as the reviews hyped it up to be, but as a local, it felt like something that I should try at least once in my life. More...

I took my two kids (ages fourteen and twelve at the time) on a trip to Boston earlier in 2022. We stayed in the Omni Parker House Hotel. I found the staff in its entirety to be very helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel. We learned on a tour with Boston Ghosts (for whom I wrote a stellar review because they're excellent) that The Omni Parker House is not only considered the most haunted hotel in Boston, but one of the most haunted hotels in the U.S.! Now you might be reading that, and thinking, "I don't believe in ghosts", and that's fine. The Omni Parker House still gives off some Overlook (or insert the name of your favorite haunted hotel, real or fictional) Hotel vibes, no matter what you believe. My kids and I didn't have any supernatural experiences while staying there, but the history of the hotel, even if you don't believe in ghosts, only adds to its ambiance. The hotel is centrally located in Downtown Boston, and several major attractions are in walking distance, as are several T stops, so the Omni Parker House makes for a great home base while visiting the city. We found the staff, whether working the front desk, the doormen, or the people working the giftshop all to be friendly and helpful. I had been to Boston before, but that was my first trip for my kids; they definitely want to go back, and really want to stay at the Omni Parker House again during our next trip. I know I'm good with that, as I really enjoyed our stay! More...

The Omni Parker is iconic. The lobby is beautiful, the staff is top notch. However, the room was very small. That’s not a big deal. But the bathroom was tiny. To go to the bathroom, you had to squeeze past the bathroom door and if you didn’t close the door, your legs were straddling the door. And the shelf in the bathroom was badly rusted. I’m glad we stayed here this year but doubt that we will return. More...

I guess this place has some historical significance and yes, it was well situated downtown. However, it is in dire need of an upgrade! It was very dated. I even spotted a mouse in the lobby! Totally outrageous for the price ($500/night) One positive was the staff - they graciously moved me into a different room when I mentioned noise from the adjacent room. Their goodwill added the 2nd star. More...

Recently stayed at the Omni Parker House with colleagues. Found this hotel last minute. Here are my pros/cons:Pros: friendly staff, historical charm, great locationCons: Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. The rooms, albeit clean, are severely outdated and in desperate need of a face lift. The television in the room was small and the interrupted DirectTV signal limited our ability to watch a majority of the channels. No robe included. The price doesn't match the accommodations at all... it's very hard to not feel as if I was ripped off. If I'm paying luxury, resort fees, the aesthetic of the room should match that. I, unfortunately, will think twice about staying here again. More...

First things first .... let's talk about location. THIS place has it!!! $10-20 Lyft ride depending on the time of the day from the airport. Then you can literally walk to everything. You are right on the Freedom Trail and a couple minutes walk from Boston Common.Although I didn't eat at the bar or their restaurant, the bar was full with a wait in the evening. We were going to grab the Boston cream pie and have a drink, but there was a wait. The host was super friendly and helpful and got us the pie to go so we could take it to our room instead. They have a cute gift shop that also has coffee and snacks and is open during the day and part of the evening. We were greeted with a friendly smile from the front desk and they were so helpful and kind. There is also a concierge available if you would like help and a bell hop as well for your luggage. The elevators have that old school charm. The hotel has that old school charm that has been taken care of through the years. Our room had a nice view of city buildings. It kind of reminded me a cute little Paris view. I attached the view from the room. We loved it!For the location and history of the hotel, I highly recommend this place! More...
