Ok so this probably would have been a 4 star review because I have always had yummy food and decent service there but the territory manager is really on top of her game!  I did one of those surveys that you get on your receipt and gave feedback that I had gone on a certain day of the week specifically for what the soup of the day was and when I got there (at noonish so not too early or late) they told me they didn't have any.  I was bummed and said so.  A few weeks later I received an email from the CSC territory manager of that store apologizing profusely, telling me they have addressed my issue with the staff there and asking for my mailing address.  Well, yesterday I got a nice card from her with a HANDWRITTEN apology and 2 coupons for a free meal!  Above and beyond my expectations for this kind of restaurant.  Actually for most any kind!  Bravo Chicken Salad Chick for not only acknowledging my feedback but for attempting to make sure it doesn't happen again and for making it right by me!  Thank you CSC for knowing how to treat customers properly.  You have a forever one now. Who doesn't love really good chicken salad?   If they don't, they need to come here and be converted!  This is not your run of the mill chicken salad!  They have many variations and I'm still working on which is my favorite!  The location is easy to get in and out of except during the busiest of lunch rushes. So adjust your schedule slightly. :)   There is plenty of parking then!  As you walk up, you'll see the outdoor patio seating with the quaint colorful umbrellas, tables and chairs.  The interior is also as bright and cheerful as outside. The menu board is not well placed so look for a menu on top of the half wall along the queue. My last trip was to grab something quick on the way back to the office.  I tried real hard not to slobber all over the place as I walked up to the counter. The thought of their chicken salad had my mouth really watering!  I opted for the Classic Salad with with Olivia's Old South Chicken Salad (Olivia obviously knew what I liked). I also grabbed one of the buttercream flower cookies (so much for trying to eat better). This time, the salad mix was really fresh (a couple of times, it wasn't as fresh as it should have been). The mix has Frisée, Butter Lettuce, and Radicchio plus some others.  It does resemble a Mesclun mix which my tender tummy really loves.  The chicken salad scoop of choice is placed upon that wonderful bed of lettuce. The chicken salad is finely chopped, diced and shredded plus mixed with some other magical flavors. Just give me a quart of it and I'd eat nothing but that! OH, they do sell it in larger sizes as you walk up to the counter so you can create your own culinary masterpiece!The to go packaging is absolutely like my mother would have done it. Roomy containers, plenty of dressing, lots of crackers (Lance Wheat Twins) and a delicious dill pickle slice.  PLUS a small butter cream cookie!   As for drinks, they have the standard Coke offerings plus a really good lemonade and teas. Opens at 10:30am if you're wondering. We were hungry and waiting on prescriptions at Walgreens that's in the same plaza so we came here to grab a bite. This was my first time having the Chicken Salad BLT -- with my favorite, Sassy Scotty. A chicken salad lover's paradise! CSC offers endless choices of chicken salad whether you love spicy buffalo or grapes and nuts. My favorite is the Fancy Nancy with grapes, but the Buffalo Barclay is a close second. You have the option of a scoop of salad with crackers or on a sandwich. The sides are great too - I tend to rotate between the pasta salad and macaroni and cheese. The meals even come with a small, soft, iced sugar cookie - the perfect amount of sweet after your meal. The staff here is always friendly and you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Stop by for lunch, I order the chicken Salad BLT sandwich and I ordered the mac & cheese kids meal for my daughter. The cashier was friendly and the facility is very clean. Chicken salad Chick is one of my favorite restaurants and I live in Louisville, KY and we don't have one unfortunately. However, I convinced my old roommate that we should drive an hour to Lexington to try this amazing chicken salad place and she was surprisingly down! She said it was totally worth, so if you are in Lexington already don't waste the trip! Go to chicken salad chick! This place has become a weekly visit since the first visit. So many good options, but my favorites are lemon basil and fancy Nancy on toasted white bread. Great soups, but I wish there were more than three soups in rotation. I like their serving size for their chicken salad, but I often cave in for a second scoop added to my sandwich. While I was in town I found this place across the street from the hotel. When my friends were in Tampa they could only talk about this place and how good it was. Well, while in Jackson I thought I would try to place out for myself and I am glad I did!Great light food indeed, but very, very tasty. The buffalo chicken salad, I could not get enough of. So good and spicy. Just made a typical chicken salad rise to the next level! There is so much flavor in the lemon basil salad. Oh my goodness! A taste of heaven! The lemon basil combo is so tasty. I'm not a huge fan of chicken salad normally, but so many people recommended their variety of flavors so I decided to give Chicken Salad Chick a try. I went to the Market St location, and found it clean and cute. The employees were friendly and had no trouble answering my questions. Man, I love this chain so much. Whenever I find one, I have to go to it. While visiting friends in Newnan, we went for a quick and delicious lunch here. I opted for the "Make it a Trio" where I got two chicken salads and a side dish. I got the Olivia's Old South (pickles and egg) on wheat which satisfied my "classic" craving. Then I branched out and did the Lauryn's Lemon Basil (no description necessary). It was very basil-y, which I appreciated. A small side of pasta salad went great and it was the perfect meal! I have now visited this place twice and am happy to say both experiences were amazing! I came with a friend the first time, and we each had classic salads with a chicken salad scoop. Absolutely delicious and huge! I couldn't finish the salad, but I ate the pickle that came with the meal. There was also a mini buttercream cookie that cake with the meal too, but being gluten intolerant, I gave the cookie to my kid when I got home. The second visit was just as pleasant and delicious. I brought my husband this time, and he got the chicken salad BLT sandwich, which came with a side, a pickle, and the mini cookie. He couldn't finish his meal either, which makes me happy. I hate ordering a meal and still being hungry after. Plus this place is food I feel good about eating. My favorite part is the sample bar! You can actually try the chicken salad varieties before ordering to see which flavor you like best! I had fun picking and choosing, and getting the thoughts on flavors of my friend and husband too.
