Damian and his team were wonderful! Starting with the communication upon booking all the way up to the day of the event. The online portal to add music and timeline of the day was super easy to use. I liked how Damian called a week prior to our wedding to go over details like how we wanted to be announced, what was going to happen at the ceremony, what music we wanted played where at when. I have to give an honest review! Chicago DJs is great and I believe they are a 5 star company, but we just ran into a little bad luck when it came to the day of the wedding. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because they struggled with setup. There were some technical difficulties and mistakes made at both the beginning of the ceremony and beginning of the reception. For the ceremony we started a few minutes late and our processional song was misplayed. For the reception they couldn't get the music going for the first 15 minutes and we had a quiet room which I made clear was something high on my list and wanted avoided at all costs. After that they came through! The introductions and dancing portion of the reception was a blast and they killed it! The setup of equipment and all the lighting was also 5 stars and it made our venue look even more amazing! The planning was also 5 stars, the online platform and communication was perfect, which is why I was a little disappointed at how the ceremony and dinner portion of the reception went considering all the planning that took place. The explanation I received for the mistakes and technical difficulties is because the DJ played off the Spotify list I provided him instead of downloading it directly to his software. These are a couple mistakes I know that will NOT be made again for future clients and is the reason why I am still HIGHLY RECOMMENDING Chicago DJs to someone who is considering them. Damian is the DJ you want at your wedding. He's great at making the announcements (dinner, last call, bridal party entrances, etc. ), great at working the crowd, and his sound system and lighting are great. He's great. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better, more personalized reception. Damian is the nicest guy, very charming, and easy to work with. We cannot say enough good things about him and the energy he brought to our wedding. Damian was by far the best person i have ever worked with! He made our wedding the best night of our lives. He genuinely connected with our guests and made sure to make the evening special. I cannot say enough good things about Damian and crew! I've never been to an event with a DJ this involved in the overall good time of guests. So much more than "someone playing music" . We had so much fun, and had so many guests comment on the "funnest" (word ? LOL) wedding they have ever been too! WOW! Damian really put his effort into making our day wonderful. He did both our ceremony and reception music. Ceremony was perfect and he helped guide when to start and made sure we were comfortable with everything. I was not an organized bride, but he made it flawless and suggested things to make sure we were getting all of our events in on-time. Reception was awesome!! Everyone was having so much fun and he was interactive with props and teaching us dances. Blown away by his spirit and positivity. All the guests were complimenting him and some even said they want to book him for their wedding in the future. I cannot recommend and thank Damian enough. Book him early now before your day fills!! We highly recommend Chicago DJs! From start to finish, Damian was extremely helpful and attentive, and he answered all of our questions around DJing, song choice, sound systems, setup, pricing, etc. We booked him and his assistant for two different rooms within the same venue (Adler Planetarium), and the setup went smoothly and on time since we noticed no major hiccups! The first room was the ceremony and afterparty, which used the same awesome sound system. We could hear the music clearly throughout the entire room, which was quite big and had tall ceilings. We had a hybrid dance floor and karaoke, which was shared on one sound system. Our guests had A BLAST! Damian was great and took all of our "must haves" into consideration and executed perfectly - from song selection to important event announcements. He took great notes and even the minor details were completed - like our special request to have a song start at a very specific time during the recessional. He played all of the songs we wanted from all sorts of genres - mostly pop, R&B, kpop, jpop, and hiphop. It was very important to us to have a variety of songs with different languages, and he played our requested songs with English, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Cantonese lyrics. He was able to get any and every song we and our guests requested. During our planning process, when there was a potential hurdle, he made sure to bring it up and give us a better alternative or solution, which we greatly appreciated. Damian was a pleasure to work with - with us the wedding couple, our venue and day-of coordinators, and our officiant. The only issues we had during our ceremony was some feedback from our videographers' mic clipped onto Chester (the groom) during our vows. There seemed to be a little bit of interference from the DJ's sound system/mic/speakers and the videographer mic. More...

I bartended an event that Damian Djed for as being a bartender for a banquet hall who’s calendar usually holds 10-12 weddings a month we hear a-lot of Dj’s. Damien was by the far the best dj I have ever heard! He got the guests pumped up, then proceeded to the dance floor to dance with the guests! It was great the dance floor wasn’t empty the whole night. The energy her brought was contagious. He had props the guests used and enjoyed! If I ever get married he’s the Dj I’m calling hands down!!! THE BEST DJ EVER!!!!! Damien made the whole process so easy. He was there through the whole process; he did calls with me while he was in transit to make sure my list song list was perfect and had the top priority songs! He had my entire wedding party super active on the dance floor with different songs! We rocked out to GUNS N ROSES, The YMCA, etc. My whole family was still talking about how awesome the DJ was the next day! He had everyone on the dance floor until midnight exactly. Damian did an incredible job at our wedding. I am a Latina who married a white man, and we asked for a blend of pop/party music along with salsa, merenge, and bachata. Damian did an amazing job with the music and both families, and all of our friends, were dancing all night long. Damian went above and beyond, and even joined us on the dance floor to teach everyone the group dances (ie. Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slides, Cupid Shuffle, etc). He even had costume hats to go along with some of the songs. Everyone loved him and we have heard over and over again that we had one of the best weddings people had ever been to, and I believe he is a huge reason for that. Highly recommend! Thanks Damian!! Hiring Damian for our wedding last month was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I had never even attended a wedding until ours, so I was clueless about the order of events and how things should go. I let Damian know and his knowledge and expertise guided us seamlessly through the process. Not to mention, our guests loved him. Throughout the wedding, people kept coming up to us and asking where we found this guy. I literally just stumbled across him from The Knot, so it only made sense to come back here and leave a great review. He is not just a DJ, he is a performer. He brought costumes and interacted with the crowd, passing out hats and props to dance with. We LOVED him. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! Damian was great from start to finish. It’s always nerve wracking to hire someone for such a big event like a wedding, but we relied on the other great reviews and he did such an amazing job at our wedding. He said he gets interactive with the crowd and it was such a hit with our guests, he knew exactly how to balance it so it was just the right amount. He played all of the songs we asked for as well as other songs that got people out on the dance floor. He was easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and gave us advice on how to order things. Everyone LOVED Damian! We got so many compliments about how fun and livening he was for the dancing and the party. He is so helpful and kind beforehand with all the details, and hilarious/awesome and super fun at the reception! He read the crowd so well and knew from the vibe how much fun/interaction to have. My cousin even wants him to come to Pennsylvania to DJ his wedding. Damian was so professional, tons of fun, such a nice guy, and played great music. And all for a very reasonable price!
