Chelsey is absolutely the best in the business! My husband and I were in the middle of planning our destination wedding in Banff (Canada), and I had the WORST makeup trial of all time. Words cannot describe how terrible I looked and felt after that experience, and with only 5 months until my wedding, and it being a destination, the panic set in to find a new makeup artist. After searching through all of the local Canadian vendors and still not feeling good about any of my options, I remembered Chelsey had done the makeup for a wedding I had attended. In an act of desperation, I reached out to Chelsey to see if she would be willing to come all the way to Canada just to do my makeup for my wedding... and boy did she ever! Chelsey did everything she could to make this work for her very busy schedule because she understood how I felt, and went out of her way to make me feel good about myself, even though she had never met me.Within a few weeks of booking her, I had my trial, and Chelsey completely understood what I wanted. I showed her a random inspiration picture I found on Pinterest, and she actually already knew what products were used in the photo. This showed me she is an expert in her craft and that she does her research and that she really loves what she does. She checks in with you all along the process to make sure you are happy, and is willing to make any changes. Chelsey is the best in the business and I recommend her for not only weddings but for any event you want to feel and look your best for. Her talent speaks for itself but her willingness to really understand what you're looking for (or help you find what you want if you're not sure) is better than any I've ever experienced. I had her do every event leading up for the wedding for me , my mom and sister and she nailed it every time. The day of the wedding went smoothly with her arriving early, being patient with schedule changes and keeping a smile on the entire time. Also, leading up to the wedding she was one of the most organized vendors I had. She is very knowledgeable and has an amazing selection of products for different skin types and weather situations. Before I began my search for a makeup artist, I thought back to all of the past weddings I have been in. Each time I remember having to touch up my makeup, add more this or that, and one time, starting over. I knew that on my wedding day I wanted to be confident that I would look my very best. Chelsea was absolutely amazing, from the trial to the day of, she was always a professional, quick to respond to my emails, and did an AMAZING job. I found Chelsey after scouring the internet for WEEKS for a makeup artist for my wedding. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, and obviously myself - we were obsessed with our makeup. If you're reading this, you're probably looking for a makeup artist in the Bay Area for your wedding. Let me help you out. PRICING: You've probably quickly realizing how ridiculously expensive makeup artists in the Bay Area are. I probably emailed close to 100 makeup artists and Chelsey was the most reasonably priced. I was getting these INSANE quotes for like $1k just for the bride's hair and makeup. I mean I get it, I'm the bride and the most important but $1k? Now you're just taking advantage of me. COMMUNICATION: She was always very quick at responding to me. Signing the contract was easy. What more could you ask for?TRIAL: I paid to do a trial with Chelsey and I would say it's totally worth it. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable with makeup but sometimes you think something that is cute on someone else will be cute on you and I quickly realized that isn't always the case. Chelsey was easy to talk to and we made edits to the things I didn't love and after a few quick changes, she had NAILED it. ** Brides, don't be afraid to tell your makeup artist if you don't love something. Give them the opportunity to work with you to get the look right. DAY OF: She came on-time, I think maybe even a tad early which was great. You don't want your makeup artist showing up late and throwing off the whole schedule. She quickly scouted out the area and found the room with the best light. Set up her stuff and got cranking on everyone. She was very friendly and would tell us about everything she was putting on us if we asked questions. Chelsey is amazing!! I was referred to Chelsey from a childhood friend/hair sylist and am so thankful! I don't wear a ton of make up and I wanted a more natural bridal look and she executed it perfectly. I am so happy that Chelsey was able to do not only my make up, but my bridal party and my mother's make up as well. She was communicative throughout the planning process (even handled my overly organized questioning with respect and kindness). My husband loved that my make up and liked that it wasn't caked on and I still looked like myself, despite having much more make up on than I normally wear. Chelsey is truly amazing at what she does. From the trial appointment, she makes sure she really understands what you want to look like on your big day. Takes the time to ask questions, takes notes, and make you feel comfortable.Through out the process up to your big day, she is responsive, and reaches out to you just so you know she's there still, and confirming she will be there when you need her. She was early, set up, and didn't ever miss a beat on my wedding day. She did my sister (MOH), my mom, my mother in law, and myself. All ranging in skin types, and completed every perfectly!! I would honestly give Chelsey more than 5 stars if I could. She is by far the best makeup artist I have ever worked with. I was so happy that she was able to my makeup for my wedding ! I am pretty hard to please especially when it comes to makeup and Chelsey finds the perfect balance to make you stand out but look natural at the same time. She has done my makeup for a few occasions (engagement party, bridal shower, engagement shoot & wedding) and I have loved it every time!  Besides being absolutely amazing at makeup and always making me feel pretty, she is the sweetest person and really cares about making everyone look and feel good. For my wedding she did 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms and me the bride in about 4 hours and everyone loved their makeup! Its hard to please that many people and fit everyone in on a tight schedule and she did it with time to spare and such ease. Chelsey is a talented, creative makeup artist who sets herself apart from the rest with her raw talent, attention to detail, really listening to her clients, and giving honest calculated suggestions to achieve the perfect look. She did makeup for me and my entire bridal party -- six girls plus my mom ranging in varying types of skin sensitivities and maturation. Chelsey patiently took the time to consider each bridesmaids personal preferences in terms of intensity but still made everyone look photo ready and inline with my preferred "look"! I am so happy and thankful that I was able to have Chelsey do not only my bridal makeup, but my entire bridal party as well! She was so easy to work with and made the whole process stress free right from the beginning!During my trial she was so attentive and made sure that the look was exactly what I wanted for the big day. On the day of the wedding she was able to do all seven of my bridesmaids as well as complete my make-up right on schedule. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL and my husband said it was the prettiest he had ever seen me. My makeup lasted the ENTIRE night and didn't smudge once even after dancing the night away. I could not have been more pleased with my wedding makeup! Chelsey is so talented and wonderful to work with. She arrived early to make sure everything was all set up, in good lighting, when my bridal party and I arrived. Her friendly, calm demeanor made it easy for everyone to feel at ease and enjoy getting ready. I've had my makeup professionally done several times but Chelsey's work is the first and only that I have absolutely loved! Exactly what a bride could hope for! There is not enough i can say about Chelsey.  She is talented, sweet, and so so easy to work with. I went to two trials before meeting her and i was really worried i would't find the right person to do my makeup for my wedding.  Then i met Chelsey. Sat down for a trial she was easy personable, listening to what i wanted.  At the end i felt the prettiest i have ever felt and hired her.  She has really reasonable pricing considering what an artist she is.  She did all my family and me for my wedding and we were all really happy. Chelsey is absolutely wonderful. Very energetic, friendly, and easy to work with.She was so sweet that she made me so comfortable in wanting to try the fake eyelashes. I was so impressed when I looked at my face. My sweetheart loved the make up and said it looked awesome. Make up was $65.00 and I gave her $100.00 for the fabulous service and friendly conversation. I am so glad to have found Chelsey for my bridal makeup! I had a trial with someone else about a month before my wedding, which was in October, and I left very disappointed. That 'wow, I look so beautiful!' kind of feeling was not there. When I told my hairdresser about it, she recommended me to Chelsey. I scheduled a trial with her (by the way, I really liked how fast she was at responding to my emails :P ) and it went beyond my expectations. She did a wonderful job, I felt so special! Chelsey did a fantastic job on my make-up for my engagement photo shoot and wedding day.  She is very professional, sweet, and talented at what she does. I brought her different pictures of ideas of how I wanted my make-up and she was able to recreate the looks for me.  Since I am highly detailed person - if there was anything slightly off to my liking, she would redo it with no problem.  She truly cares about pleasing her clients.
