The Chef Shack is a full-service, custom catering and food delivery company servicing Long Island. We are family owned and all of our ingredients are fresh, locally sourced, personally shopped and hand picked. Our meals are homemade and created with love from our door to yours.

With many catering companies out there, you might wonder, “Why Chef Shack?” We dedicate a lot of personal time when you book an event with us. We start by putting a custom menu together just for you, in order to make your event a huge success.

The company was started back in 2009 in North New Jersey and was formally known as Cater Couture. Janine started the company because of her love and passion for cooking and bringing meals and families together. Since meeting her husband and relocating, Janine also relocated and rebranded the company to Long Island, where she now runs it with her incredible husband and partner, Mark.

How much or how little you want us involved with your event is entirely up to you. We can do everything from curb-side deliver, to in house set-up, to a team of servers, to staff clean up & take-down, and even event décor & table settings if needed.

We cater any and all events, from social and celebratory occasions to corporate and business events. Whether you are having a low-key back yard BBQ with friends, a holiday dinner with the family, or just want simple meals delivered weekly for re-heat + eat, because you don't have time or the desire to cook - we have you covered! We can provide catering and meal delivery for any size and any occasion.

With our quality customer service, amazing taste & only the freshest ingredients being our main focus, you won't go anywhere else for your catering needs. We offer a customized menu with a world-wide range of cuisine to choose from, all prepared using fresh, local produce and presented in a variety of style and setups.
