it was date night, he ordered a cup of the French onion soup au gratin & we shared, it was amazing!!! The hot rolls they bring to the table are so delicious! For dinner, he ordered prime rib, I ordered charbroiled rib eye. My steak was amazing, cooked just the way I like it, and that char broiled flavor! yummm! I also ordered the loaded baked potato, I highly recommend it! His prime rib was a bit overcooked, and he never likes to complain so I did! but, they were very nice and brought him another one that was cooked to perfection, although he had filled up on rolls and soup, so he couldn't finish the steak! Atmosphere was tremendous. Views are great, eating on the patio was perfect. Fortune enough to listen to live music. Service was subpar and was tough to get timely attention. Food was ok, but nothing spectacular. Would suggest they look at little things like not using bags of frozen veggies as a side or going above iceberg lettuce for salads. More...

On a nice summer day what better way to relax after work than head somewhere with drinks and dinner on a beautiful patio.  The Chart House has an amazing patio and if you are looking for somewhere to hang out with decent food, this was a nice option .  I have never really spent any time inside as I've always been outside, but the outside is a nice space with a fountain, outside bar, and all situated lakeside.  The service tends toward being slow as they always seem to be really short-staffed.  It took a long time for drinks and appetizers and we almost didn't order an entree because we were questioning how long that would take, but as the place cleared out from the Happy Hour rush it seemed to get a little bit better.  The server was running around the whole time, so it wasn't for lack of trying, but one or two people can only do so much.  The food itself was pretty good.  We ordered the Sizzling Bourbon Steak Bites as an appetizer and it came out sizzling and delicious.  The meat was cooked perfectly and had great flavor.  The sauces that came with it were very good too.  The horseradish sauce could have used a bump of horseradish so it offered more flavor, but the other one, the Spicy Bourbon sauce was fantastic!!For dinner I had the Thai Cashew Chicken Wrap and french fries and it was delicious.  There were a lot of cashews, the peanut sauce was flavorful, the grilled chicken was good, and the ingredients were fresh.  My husband had the Cuban sandwich.  He thought it was OK, but it was not as flavorful as it should have been (more mustard would have helped).  He had onion rings for his side and he liked those.Overall, it was a lovely night out, great patio, good beverages and pretty decent food.  The prices are on the high side, and if you are in a hurry and not ready to just chill out for a while, this may not be a good option since things may take a while, but if you have time it was very nice and a beautiful patio location. Kayla and Debbie were wonderful to work as we planned the Groom’s dinner from out of state. They had great ideas and were very helpful. The staff the night of our groom’s dinner were attentive and went the extra mile for us. The setting was gorgeous on the patio and we were very happy with the food. We had one concern over charges on our bill and Debbie rectified the error when I brought it to her attention. Only negative thing was there was lots of goose poop in the grass, but we just stayed on the walking stones. I would highly recommend the Chart House! More...
