Chapala is our favorite Mexican restaurant! The staff are congenial, the menu is delicious and service is prompt. We ate there very recently and had a very good experience. The food was very good and our waiter was courteous and attentive. It is very family friendly. One of our kids spilled a large drink and the wait staff very quickly got that all cleaned up from table and floor without any sense of frustration with having to do so. Chapala's restaurant on 29th is one of my favorites. They have really good free nachos from 4-6 every day with a drink purchase! We are vegetarian so we ask for the black beans since the refried beans have lard in them. They have many really good vegetarian choices in the menu, like a huge veggie burrito and really delicious spinach & mushroom enchiladas. The staff if always friendly, and the place is clean. The queso with jalapenos rocks! Great guacamole. We like to come to this shopping center when we are in Eugene and this is one of our favorite places to eat while we are shopping. The food is fast and delicious. My wife is very picky and always finds a great option here. I am on the opposite side of life where I try something different every visit. Surprisingly good salads! Huge servings and crisp, fresh veggies. Wimpy side of guacamole, but it was yummy! Tons of booths and tables in a comfortable atmosphere. Fast and friendly service.
