Worked here for a year and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Management encourages team building events and have fun company retreats to keep the employees refreshed. Workplace culture is very collaborative as everyone is eager to help one another to further the mission of supporting the kiddos. I never felt like the company was "cliquey" as everyone is just friendly with one another. Schedules are flexible and the managers try their best to accommodate employee needs. If you are dedicated, moving up in the company is very achievable as I have seen in my time many employees move up a step. Keep radiating CABC! More...

Worked in this company for 10 months and I enjoyed working with the kids and their families. The management is approachable, listens to therapists' problems at work and gives necessary support. However, it's a job for people (college students) that seeks extra money. It isn't a job that will pay you a decent living since when clients cancel sessions you are most likely not paid (some cancels for a few days) and that's a waste of time and $$$$ on your part. Even if you want to work more to earn more, working hrs always depend on clients.Pros Good management, good bossCons Not for full time job, doesn't pays off, good only for extra $$$ More...

I have been here for 7 months and I couldn't be happier with my decision to transition companies. CABC is an extremely supportive company with understanding and compassionate management. There's so much room for growth and opportunity that cultivates a positive work environment. I have a healthy schedule and the pay is fair. Everyone who works here is a caring and supportive individual. I love the company get togethers and the casual work space.Pros growth, pay, hours, benefits, schedulesCons None More...

This is one of the best ABA companies in the Bay Area. The support and culture here is phenomenal! The growth occurs physically, professionally, and personally with the support of many positive and intelligent staffs including the founder, Kirk. Health is important for daily workflow and free workout classes are provided! Work and life balance is great as long as you do not call in consistently. I've learned that it takes a community to teach and raise an individual whether on the spectrum or not and it's very rewarding and magical! There are organizations within the company with fun activities. As long as you complete your work in a timely fashion, micromanagement is out the door. The most enjoyable part of the job is connecting and learning with colleagues to reach mutual goals and playing a crucial part in changing lives.Pros Paid RBT certification after exam is passed, Passionate and helpful staffs to pursue BCBA license, Provides Health benefits, free workout classes, and retirement, Fun atmosphere focusing on milestones and success, Has fun Summer Retreats, Holiday Retreats, and adventurous events, Starting pay beats most ABA companies.Cons Benefits are not the greatest but hey, it's a small company that actually has benefits and retirement! As a Director of provider services for more than 27 years, Kirk Chang is one of the strongest Behavior Analysts I've had the pleasure of working with. His dedication to the men and women he serves is evident in not just his advocacy for quality services, but is also seen in his determination to build lasting quality outcomes through those who will deliver those services. Start up company with little staff but all staff members are awesome and fun to work with. Company is mainly for part time users so it is not ideal for someone looking into full time work. 30 hours per week is considered full time here. New employees will start with only one client which can be 6 to 10 hours per week for a month or two before getting more hours or more clients. Scheduling can be not very ideal as well if you get 2 clients, it's possible to have a 2-3 hour gap between work sessions. The only times I see and talk to the other staff members is once a month during the monthly staff meetings, otherwise everyone just goes to their own work sessions on a daily basis or so. Sometimes the company doesn't communicate accurately or timely when there are changes being made to the schedule and can cause confusion. This company would be great for college students who are majoring in psychology and are interested in this field of work. For those seeking a BCBA, this company would be great because you will have face to face learning opportunities with a BCBA.Pros Great management and fun staff to work with, face to face learning opportunity with BCBA, nice benefitsCons Part time hours, long gap between two sessions, start up company, short staffed, communication More...
