I've been going to champion gym for about 4 years now and I must say the new owners have made some nice changes! All the new machines are awesome compared to the days when "out of order" would be on 90% of the equipment. I would highly recommend it now!

I've been going to this gym on and off for 8 years. Very clean environment. Very friendly staff and trainers. Dumbbells go to 125 but are in bad shape. All rubber weights. Tanning included if you're into that. Sana included. Awesome aerobics room. The only issue I have with this gym is the amount of members come here and are taking selfies and recording themselves. So just a heads up that you might be on their stupid video for instagram. More...

Gym, locker rooms and class rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Variety of equipment available and they listen to members when that suggest new equipment (such as the stairmaster). Many classes available (throughout the day; yoga, pound, kickboxing, boxing, dance fitness, etc.), personal trainers, meal program and protein shakes at front desk. Everyone has been very friendly and attentive!I attended this gym under the OLD ownership and the OLD ownership was poor. Champion Health Club is amazing the staff here are so friendly and kind. They have some great equipment and great classes that are offered as well. I walked into this gym in January 2019 knowing I needed to live a healthier lifestyle.  I met with Justin and signed up for my one year membership.  That has been one of the best decisions I ever made.  Justin, Andre and Mike are so nice and they made me feel right at home.  Mike who is my PT is very knowledgeable in all things fitness and willing to go above and beyond to help out his clients.  Everyone who works there that I have spoken too  are super nice as well.  The gym and locker room has always been clean and the amount of classes they offer each month is second to none. Under new ownership as of December 2018. That being said the two guys that took over are super nice and are passionate about health & wellness. Even though I felt a little pressured to get a contracted membership, it was worth it so far as this is my first day, and I already feel like I'm NOT a sardine like I felt at PF. The new owner is amazing!! Don't go off of any old reviews. Customer service is outstanding. The Training Manager spent a lot of time with me, and this was before I even set up an initial appointment. The owner went above and beyond. It was for something stemming from the previous owners, who I do not know, but don't have anything good to say about them! I'm looking forward to my year with this gym!!! More...

This is about as good as it gets if you want an oldschool bodybuilding gym.While they do have tanning and group classes, the gym is laid out well and focuses on actual workouts. There's a cardio area, free weights area, circuit training, and stretching area.There's a separate portion of the gym dedicated to group classes, and from what I saw, a new boxing ring. The changing rooms also have a sauna.The place is extremely well cleaned (cleaning crew does the whole gym, every night) and the free weights go to pretty large amounts, unlike PF.Price is right where you'd want to be at, and there's a few skilled personal trainers as well. Absolutely excellent the cleanliness of this place is incredible the workers there are very helpful the personal trainer by the name of Donnie really knows his stuff and goes out of his way to help. They might have changed the powerhouse name but they have kept up the strong customer satisfaction they have always been known for. It's a little pricey but it's worth it with all state-of-the-art equipment unlike other gyms in the area keep up the good work guys Thanks! More...
