This company is very helpful and efficient with refurbishment of furniture. We have had them fix and reupholster several dining and office chairs. They do a wonderful job and are so great to work with. More...

Old fashioned customer service. A rarity these days! They come  when promised. Their quote was fair. And the work was amazing. They put fresh cushions and webbing on my kitchen chairs, secured the arms of the captain chairs. ...and also did some drawer repairs (defective tracks). Very professional and easy to work with. When your furniture needs some 911 assistance, call this company! More...

Incredible service! I went in with two sofa cushions that had broken zippers and a tear. They took me right away (no waiting) and fixed them on the spot for a very reasonable price. Good customer service too. I highly recommend them! More...

I just got my chairs back from Chair A Medic and all I can say is WOW!!!These were dining room chairs that had worn fabric on the seats. They are custom order Kindel chairs, from many years ago. Very expensive, and I didn't want to discard the chairs. I called Chair A Medic and after sending some photos to them,  I got a quote and went ahead with the work. I had some original fabric in great condition. They came and picked up the chairs and fabric. The chairs were delivered back to me today and they honestly look as good as the day I bought them. Very high quality work. Please consider using this company for any upholstery work you may need. I'm so glad I did!!! More...

After deciding to keep our current dining room set and just giving it a fresh new look, I needed to find someone to reupholster the chairs. The Chair-A-Medic shop is nothing fancy, chairs and couches fill every square foot of walkable space. Rolls of fabric, commercial quality sewing machines and a group of  hardworking extremely talented people. Bob helped us with initial plan and a designer with the fabric, which they have an abundance of swatch books you can go through. The project took a few weeks longer than anticipated, but I if you want something done right these people are the real deal. I'm overjoyed with the results Steven did a fantastic job.i highly recommend this company More...

I had a cushion on the back of my new glider chair that pushed on my shoulders too much.   Brand new, but I needed it adjusted.    I brought it to Chair-A-Medic and they were able to take some of the stuffing out, told me to try it out.   I brought it back, still bothered me.  They took out even more (although I think it pained them to deflate the cushion so much). PERFECT!   For me anyway!  No charge for the second time around.     Thank you!  I would definitely recommend them! More...

These folks are incredible! I started out on this project for my granddaughters to create their favorite character rocking chairs for their rooms. I really wanted a professional job and well, you can see for yourself if you check out my Google review! Not sure how to share a picture here. These were brand new rocker gliders with ottomans that I bought the material for. Sheriff Callie and Elsa from Frozen. These folks are just amazing! They also rushed the job to get them done in time for their birthdays! Very reasonable price too! Highly recommend these folks! More...

Chair-A-Medic was awesome. The arms of my couch were worn down and torn. After a failed attempt at a DIY repair, they gave me reasonable quotes on my different options. They had a variety of different materials for me to match to my couch. The turn around time for the repair was much quicker than quoted too. Now my arms look better and are fuller than when I first bought my couch. I would use Chair-A-Medic again in the future and highly recommend them to others. More...

Recently, I had a loveseat that broke and they had me take pictures to send to them. After reviewing the pictures, they gave me a quote and fixed my love seat for exactly what they said and on the timeline they told me they would. I was very pleased with the service that I received and we are talking about giving them several other pieces of furniture to repair in the near future. More...

The couch set was the 3rd item reupholstered by Chair Medic.  I love them and they are my 1st call.  Very reasonable for the bourse involved in my last vintage pieces.  He tufted correctly by sewing all pieces rather than pulling the fabric - all which was priced similarly to those whom planned to only pull the fabric.  I have reupholstered items myself, just not this age or size, and am completely happy with their work. Just had my dining chairs reupholstered.  It was pricey even with the discount but overall I'm satisfied.  The chairs came the day after the agreed date.  They were late for the time to drop off chairs so I re-scheduled for next day.  Got an estimate through email before owner Bob came to our place for fabric selection and a final price sent to me next day via email.  Got a free estimate on a sofa for re-upholstering during the drop off.  Overall an honest vendor. I had the pleasure of speaking to Troy for my recliner repair need. He took the time to speak with me and helped troubleshoot over the phone with directing me on what to look and feel for to potentially figure out what the problem is with my recliner. He informed there is a service charge if they come to me, but they would waive the service fee if I bring it in as an option. He had me look for the manufacturer and product information and had me on hold while he reached out to the company. He also provided possible quotes on what the problem may be and encouraged me to bring in my recliner and they can get it like new again. He discouraged me from placing it for sale extremely cheap, if they can repair it and can be enjoyed fully again.  All and all Troy and this company I feel have gone over and beyond with that EXTRA mile, that I truly appreciate.  I feel confident about their expertise and they've provided excellent customer service, since I recently had a poor experience with another local company.  Thank you Troy ad Chair-A-Medic. :) More...

My loveseat needed repair less than a year from the date of purchase. I contacted the furniture company, and after a month of getting the run-around, I called Chair-A-Medic. The owner, Bob, answered the phone after hours and was very helpful in advising me on the information I would need to gather before calling back the next day. I spoke with Lisa the following morning and she scheduled Troy to come out to my home within the week. They took care of EVERYTHING! They contacted the furniture store and finally got somewhere with them. They ordered the new cushion cover from the manufacturer and repaired it today. GOOD AS NEW! Thank you Chair-A-Medic! I decided to have my dining room chairs reupholstered by Chari-A-Medic after picking up one of their business cards at the Copenhagen outlet.  Hands down one of the best furniture decisions I have made.  Our cat had destroyed the leather chairs and my husband refused to buy new chairs.  We found some great fabric and delivered the chairs to Bob.  In one week's time they completely refurbished our chairs and fixed a nasty gash on the back of one of the chairs...honestly they look like brand new chairs.  The price to complete all 4 chairs was less than the purchase price for 1.  And to top it all off, Lisa and Bob provided outstanding customer service.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering reupholstering their furniture; in fact, I have already sung their praises to several of our friends this week.  Thanks Lisa and Bob, We LOVE our chairs!!! The pull cable on my recliner snapped one night and I literally thought "How do I get *that* fixed?" Another furniture place recommended I call Chair-a-Medic (now that's saying something about Chair-a-Medic! A referral from a competitor). Bob was so kind and professional. He asked all the right questions. Troy came out to do the repair and educated me about my recliner theater seating all while doing the repair. He went above and beyond to get this cable fixed. These guys provide the exceptional customer service we SHOULD get all the time from our service providers. I definitely recommend them! Thanks, Bob and Troy! More...

Have had several couch cushions replaced here.  I am giving them a full five stars because I was not happy with the way a recent set of cushions were wearing.  Even though comfort is highly subjective, they agreed to replace the cushions with a foam that was more to my liking.  Even though I paid a little extra for the cost of materials the second time I was really pleased once I got them back.  Troy said he wanted to make sure and get it right the second time around so we took extra time and made a few extra adjustments.  My advice is to take a lot of time to decide which firmness and materials you want when renewing old furniture.  There are so many choices and one person's definition of comfortable may not equal another's.  it's definitely cheaper to renew old furniture than buy new, but is still a big investment.  Make sure to ask a lot of questions and even take some foam samples home to test for a day or two.  Nothing more frustrating than to spend hard earned money and not satisfied. We inherited a sideboard/wine cabinet from my mother--she bought it at a garage sale about 25 years ago for $75 (!!!!), and it was always in our foyer growing up. My dad hated the thing (art deco is apparently not his style!), so my mom gave it to my husband and me. We didn't have anywhere to put it, so it languished in our garage, collecting dust and being subjected to the super-dry desert climate. We recently moved and have the perfect spot for it, so my husband surprised me by taking it to Chair-a-medic for restoration, and I have one word: WOW. They did an incredible job. I don't even know what to say. It brought my mother to tears... in a good way. They obviously put a lot of care and love into the restoration, and they preserved the original hardware and wood, and it looks absolutely amazing. They tried to find a maker's mark to help us age and identify it, but no luck. No matter--it's just a wonderful piece of our family history, and now it's something that can be passed on to my daughter and generations beyond. And it looks fantastic in our great room!Thank you so much to Bob and the gang at Chair-a-Medic. You guys did a GREAT job! More...

My couch cushions were getting flat so what's a guy like me to do?  Stuff them myself with old newspapers? Yeah right, but I did think of that. They knew exactly what the problem was and the proper way to stuff them.  They are actually better than new.  They charged $65 per cushion, but I thought it was a fair price since it's way cheaper than a new couch. It looks like the service I used them for is just the tip of the iceberg.  They repair, restore, and recover about anything.
