I have to say!! I’ve ordered flower arrangements as a gift before and when the flowers were delivered they were awful. I’ve received two arrangements from century flower . I had ordered flowers for my wife on our anniversary from 1800flowers.com, well the flowers she received was not even close to what I ordered! ! I was driving by saw century florist with a 1800flowers logo on the sign, figured I would go inside and see if there was anything they could do. Joel immediately asked if he could help which I said not sure what u can do but. I showed him what my wife had received and what I had ordered, he agreed that it wasn't even close. Then too my surprise he brought the picture of what I wanted on the back and made me a new bouquet of flowers that was absolutely beautiful!!!! Joel was amazing and went out of his way above and beyond to make sure my wife got beautiful flowers on her anniversary, which he didn't have to do since the original flowers didn't come from his store. I will ONLY be ordering flowers directly from century florist in the future and recommend anyone in the Hollywood, Pembroke pines, Miramar areas to call them or directly order from there store if they're using 1800flowers.com. My husband, friends and family have been sending me flowers from this local business for years and I've NEVER been disappointed, so I'm so surprised to see any complaint.  The arrangements have always been artistic, beautiful and the flowers have always been fresh and last exceptionally long. Flowers have always been delivered on time. On Valentine's Day, Christmas and other holidays, which often overwhelm any service industry, my husband is exceptionally smart; he orders flowers to deliver the day before so my flowers are a fresh surprise and stand out against the multitudes sent to others at work and the sentiment of the gift stands out and isn't lost in the chaos of the holiday celebration.   I suggest this strategy for any reader LOL!!!! I randomly chose this florist from Google site and was extremely happy I did. I ordered flowers for my daughters birthday and when they were delivered to her they had added a box of chocolates for her. First time I use a Florist service in my whole life. I recommend this florist to everyone. They did an excellent job for me. Do not even read the bad reviews, that is a waste of time. Before going there I saw the bad reviews but I did not care, because there is too many people out there that is really picky and any little detail will bother them. A good customer service is not just about if flowers are fresh or not so fresh, if the prices are high or no so high. It is about the human part of the people that take care of the business too. I love tulips and was very disappointed with the sub quality arrangement I received today from this florist. I guess that's what you get when ordering via a national service and not knowing which local shop will actually be putting it together.  In his case, even the straw bow was downright ugly. The tulips although fresh were very small and closed. Thankfully the shop owner was willing to make me a new arrangement upon me a showing up in person to complain. In my quest to once again patronize a local business, I decided to stop by 800-Flowers/Century Florist to order and send flowers to my aunt that lives in San Diego.  The lady that helped me was not the owner, but according to her she was just 'filling in', anyways, she was a bit slow as she was struggling to put in the order in the main computer and at the same time go in the back to search for the particular item I wanted to send to my aunt.  I was at the store a total of half an hour and never really saw anyone else coming in, sad.  But she managed somehow to get my order right and so I was happy with how nice she was.  The store however was pretty cluttered with very little selection of flower arrangement, it's not going to stop me from ordering from them again.I am putting a message out there that, please let's support and patronize local businesses in South Florida. I wanted to do something nice for the last day of school and while being a full-time student myself time got away from me. I realized I would need 10 roses very last minute (within the hour), seperated and wrapped. The person who picked up the phone was very courteous and was eager to help. Needless to say, I surprised all my son's pre-school teachers. Oh and they added some cute purple flowers in place of baby breath, which added a nice touch. I absolutely LOVED my experience with Century Florist!! They did all of our flowers for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and I couldn't have been happier! Joel really listened to what it was that I wanted and made sure it was perfect on the day! I had very specific ideas and he not only followed them to a T, but also made suggestions that enhanced the overall effect I was going for!
