Center Stage Event Venue is a nice facility for stage performances and probably a wide range of other events. Seating and visibility were good for the stage performance presented by the 5 & Dime Drama Collective, 7PM, Saturday, November 11th. On this evening the theater was configured with three stages: what appeared to be a permanent center stage and smaller temporary stages on the left and right. My following comments are about the Drama Collective's presentation titled SHIFT, consisting of 6 short plays. If I were rating SHIFT I'd give it 1 or 2 stars. Supposed to start at 7PM, the first play began about 40 minutes late due to an earlier event running late, then they had continuing sound problems with microphones "cutting in and out". This being said, the excessive self-flattering introductions preceeding the first play raised performance/script expectations and did not work to 5 & Dimes advantage. The plays were surprisingly weak and seemed to miss easy opportunities to make their brief stories more poignant, meaningful, and richer. The program stated there would be a 10 minute intermission after the 3rd play. When intermission was announced it turned out to be 30 minutes. For us, it wasn't worth the time. We left. We didn't see the final 3 plays. I've enjoyed many dozens of small stage/community productions. I've never left early before. More...

Our son just got married here and everyone that I spoke with who attended gave rave reviews. We had people attending from all over the world and many different states and the consensus was always the same, “Amazing, outstanding, incredible”! !! We had an incredible wedding at The Center Stage. Firstly, it's a jaw dropping, beautiful venue! When you walk in, you cannot be prepared for the beautiful foyer and the amazing interior. Every attention has been paid to the detail and the decorating. And the icing on the cake is Jolene and Dana! They are both so sweet and accommodating! We feel like they are personal friends of ours now. Do yourself a favor and check out this venue if you are getting married in Eureka Springs. We had twice the people coming to our wedding, but because of tornadoes and severe storms, many friends had to cancel. With our small guest count, we still had a blast!! It was unforgettable. More...

I can’t say enough about The Center Stage! It’s over the top and so beautiful!! Very sophisticated and decorated elegantly. The owners, Jolene and Dana, are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. We consider them our friends after we had our wedding there. The pictures just don’t do it justice. If you want an unforgettable wedding, reception, retirement party, wedding anniversary, family reunion, etc., you need to go tour this venue.
