This is one of my best experiences I've had for my bday. I treated my good friends for a 90 min sunset private charter ride for my pre bday and the captain was great. , he played nice background music, took us allll over the harbor, sooo relaxing , you can rent ice buckets and cups, bring your own snacks and wine. It was a wonderful trip around the harbor. Our captain Ryan was very good- full of knowledge about the boats, the birds and the different structures in the harbor. It was a very pleasant day- sunny with a nice breeze. We enjoyed the snacks and drinks we brought which was an added bonus.The only slightly disappointing thing was the area traveled was very limited. It would have been nice to go a bit further along the coast in either direction.We would definitely take this trip again!! More...

We absolutely loved our mini-adventure on Little Toot! The captain and First Mate stopped Little Toot next to a rock where several sea lions were acting extra cute, to the delight of everyone on our vessel. Later, we stopped again to witness a convention of pelicans atop a giant bolder. The pelicans were within the hand's reach from us.Our youngest passenger got to navigate the Little Toot boat for several minutes, under a watchful eye of the Captain, amidst the high seas! So much excitement! So much fun! The trip is only 10-15 minutes long, but the experience is outstanding! Little Toot is more than a water taxi- it's an adventure vessel. We can't wait to be back! Truly enjoyable cruise with friendly and efficient staff.  We did the 90 minute sunset cruise aboard the Azure Seas.  We took the first class option to ride on the top deck (rear) and I recommend it strongly, though I'm sure any spot on the ship would be fine.

My family and I rented the private boat around the dock for 1 1/2 hrs. We arrived at the dock almost 15 minutes late due to traffic and having a difficult time finding parking. However, Kathy and her husband (our captain) did not make it an issue and were very understanding. They still gave us the whole 1 1/2 hrs. The boat ride itself was amazing to say the least. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. I was a little concerned about my husband who usually gets sea sick when on small boats, however this ride was smooth and relaxing. We were able to bring along wine and snacks. There was even speakers to play your own playlist to really set the mood. The captain was awesome. Gave lots of information about the boats and surrounding area. During our ride, we also saw sea lions. I would most def recommend this ride for anyone. Took the 1hr cruise at 3pm.  Was worth the $25. The yacht was showing some age but the staff definitely made up for it.  Jerry was pleasant and prompt with the drink orders and Capt. Awesome boat services with very reasonable prices. Lot of parking space on the pier. For first 90 min it’s free after that also very reasonable prices and max $20 per day. Very nice place, fresh air, nice beaches, boat ride starting at $5 per person. Overall very good experience... we really enjoyed this place it’s totally worth going to Santa Barbara. More...

We chose the Sunset Cruise, as my husband and I were celebrating aour 11th Anniversary. We are so glad we did. It was beautiful, romantic, and peaceful. My boyfriend and I just went whale watching last week, and we had an amazing experience.  I have been on the condor express at least 6 times, and this was so much better.  We were served our drinks right to our seat, were offered blankets, and there was plenty of staff checking if we needed anything.  I highly recommend this cruise!! My wife and I were in the area and she's been chasing a whale watching experience for quite some time.  We tried on the East coast with no luck, so we tried here as the time of year was supposed to be good! Once on board, the staff was excellent.  Friendly and welcoming.  The ship was modern and in good repair.  The trip was excellent, but we saw no whales.  Not the fault of the cruise line - they can never promise that.  But!  Kathy was very helpful and offered to book us again the next day to try again.  We did, but the weather was poor so they cancelled.  Again, can't blame them!  At least they tried; most would not!Their attention to detail and willingness to help is like none we have seen before - Thank you! Amazing two hour whale cruise..yes we did see whales but what made it more enjoyable was the attentive crew. Jerry made sure my wife received the added attention to navigate the stairs and see the whales, thank you again. I also noticed how he helped a young boy overcome his fears, leave the indoor cabin to visit the captain and feel more comfortable aboard the ship. The boy, Milo came back so excited after seeing the whales and got to ask the captain a question or two. I loved everything about this adventure our family went on. We started off with the mind set that we were going on a boat ride and if we saw any whales it would be an added bonus. We got the added bonus!!!! We saw 4-5 whales accompanied by several seals and a ton of birds all putting on an awesome show!The boat was on time, organized and clean. Even the bathrooms! Drinks and snacks were available for purchase from a full bar. The staff was friendly, attentive and full of facts about the area and the marine life. Wonderful cruise and whale watching.  They made sure to know where sightings had been prior to going out and increased the chance of us seeing the whales.  And they delivered - amazing views of whales (including catching three rare breaches of a juvenile), dolphins and seals.  The boat was clean and well kept, the crew were attendant to everyone's needs (including having blankets for everyone to stay warm).I was also appreciative of the constant updates the day before and morning of, when it looked like high winds may cancel the trip (it didn't, luckily).  I would recommend this for anyone wanting a nice day out on the water. We booked the sunset cruise for our 22nd anniversary.  When we got there we were the only ones on the cruise.  We thought they may just cancel the cruise since it was only the two of us,  but they didn't! We had the entire yacht to ourselves.  The crew were so nice and accommodating,  they brought us drinks, took pictures of us at sunset,  brought blankets to stay warm,  and a cheese and fruit tray to snack on.  What a way to celebrate our special day. We went on the Whale Watching cruise after finding a great deal on Groupon! We went midday in early March on a partly cloudy day. We went on a Thursday, so there wasn't many people at all. The boat was a good size, but would probably be a bit crowded if all the tickets (40+) were purchased. The weather was in the 60's and it was windy! It was a bit cold, but definitely worth it. We saw grey whales (from afar), dolphins, and sea dogs! The staff was nice and they even offer a free reservation to come back if you don't see any whales the first time you go. The only complaint I have is that when we went there were children running around the boat, unattended, and it was distracting. This is not the staff's fault at all, but would have been nicer if this was an adult only experience! Or if parents were more attentive - so please keep this in mind if you decide to go.
