This place was so beautiful and peaceful. We wanted a weekend getaway and stumbled across this place after we ate in marble falls. The efficiency was very clean and cozy. 5 stars The Martin family has truly thought of everything when it comes to staying at Log Country. Every home is unique, and perfectly equipped to do everything indoors and outdoors! Our family has made this a July 4th yearly tradition for 5 years now and it is the kind of place I pray one day we’re taking our own grandkids to! The cabins were very well appointed with stylish furnishings and all the things a home might need for cooking and meal presentations. The place was well maintained, clean and well equipped with tv, appliances. The WiFi was spotty but, with the outdoor activities and wedding, it was not an issue. The staff here is the key. Very friendly, responsive and professional. Boats, golf carts, miniature golf, horse shoes, volleyball, hiking. The beautiful surroundings of the hill country, spectacular cabin accommodation and superb staff make this a destination my family and I will visit again. More...

The Tuscan Villa at Log Country Cove was really nice. 95% of the entire 7 bedroom house was amazing and well kept. The house was equipped with everything needed for a large family/friend stay. The 5% lacking were a broken gas grill, chairs in the media room need replacing and a few other small furniture items not in the best shape. However, we had a great time! More...

My wife and I stayed at the Maegan Breann. This is a quaint little cabin that is perfect for 2 people! The cabin is full of charm. We stayed in December and when we opened the door we were greeted with a Christmas tree and various Christmas decorations placed throughout the cabin. It was a great touch!||||So, on to specifics.||||Check in was smooth and easy. The staff is super friendly!||When you walk in the door of this cabin, you are in a small sitting area with two couches and an old style TV. The kitchen is just past the sitting area. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need. A refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, dual sinks, toaster, and coffee maker (Not Keurig). Under the sink was dishwasher soap, and a dish sponge, and some extra garbage bags. There is a small breakfast bar that just fits 2 people. ||Walking through the kitchen takes you to the only bathroom in the cabin. ||The bathroom is a bit small. If you are a large person, you may have some trouble using the toilet and shower, as they are relatively small. I am 6' 2" and 270 pounds and I was ok. The bathroom has a stand up shower, toilet and sink. You are given one roll of TP and you are on your own if you run out. So, if staying for a couple days, maybe bring another roll of TP.||Back to the front door. ||As you come in the door, to the immediate right is the stairs to head to the bedroom. The stairs are cut logs, finished and polished, all adding to the allure of the place. One thing I will tell you is that coming down, if you are barefoot or wearing socks, be careful. The steps do not have pads on them and they are a bit slippery.||||Upstairs is the only bedroom. It is big and beautiful. There is a Jacuzzi tub in the corner by the bed. There is a King Sized bed that is very comfortable! A closet that has extra pillows. You will also find a fan! I was so happy to see that fan! I am one of those who sleeps with a fan on every night and going away I struggle sleeping because I do not hae a fan. The fan in the cabin was a life saver! There is a balcony you can sit out on one of the two rocking chairs that over looks the water. There is a very small TV above the doors to the balcony at the foot of the bed. And you get DirecTV service at all cabins I believe.||||The cabin has heat and central air. The thermostat is above the breakfast bar just outside the kitchen. The cabin has large windows all over the cabin for plenty of views of the area and allowing in plenty of sunlight during the day. The windows do have shades to keep out the sun in the morning.||Every night we had a gray fox running around outside and one night we had about 4 deer in the front yard area.||||Some things that could have been better?||Well, the headboard of the bed was actually lower than the foot of the bed so that was a bit weird while laying down.||There was only one nightstand by the bed, and no alarm clock, so use your phone.||The front door of the cabin had no curtain over the window, which wasn't a huge deal, but just awkward at night.||Maybe an upgrade to the TV's. The TV in the bedroom is very small and high up on the wall and tough to see. ||||We will try to make it a point to visit again! It is such a nice place. More...
