Horrible- was hoping for something akin to their location in Ellicott City, but nope. 3 tables on the patio had people, and we were the oy table inside. Horrible, non-existent service; was never informed food would be coming out well done and that I'd have to request if I didn't want that (not stated in the menu); never bused the tables; had to ask bartender for chips; had to flag to the server (twice) for soda refills. This is my favorite restaurant in Howard County! I love it so much here that they know me by sight and by order lol. I truly missed this place as I stopped eating out when the pandemic started in this area. I decided on Sunday (Mother's Day) that I've been away long enough and I decided to order from my favorite spot. I was not disappointed! The employee that took my order by phone was awesome, and he recognized me and welcomed me back lol. The service was quick (which was awesome considering that I ordered on a holiday) and my order was ready for pickup. He could tell I was apprehensive about ordering and explained their procedure, which made me feel at ease about ordering. The food was delicious (as usual) and I'm looking forward to going back in another week or so. If you are hesitant about ordering, don't be. This place is well run and awesome and I love it. We love La Palapa Too. It's our go-to restaurant. Tonight is was our To-Go restaurant. Food was ready when I arrived, still warm when we got home and the Margarita was amazing!

We headed to Lapalapa’s this evening with (at our 5yrs old request) and Santiago was a waiter. We had wonderful service as usual however the few things our kids look forward too is the chocolate milk and the bowl of mints (waiting at the door). After my kids noticing that there was not a bowl of mints at the door, I mentioned this to our waiter and he managed to get us two mints!!!! It’s the small things :) Thank you so much Santiago and Lapalapa Too! We have been coming to you for at least 9 yrs and we will continue to do so! Did we mention we also got surprise balloons for each of our three kids? Amazing!!!! More...
