I'm sure the pizza is good- but we went for the Pasta and it was really good! Not many places make eggplant rollatini but I love it. They did a good job even if it was enough for two people! Daughter loved the pasta with meatballs. Definitely worth it. Nothing fancy inside- just standard pizza parlor but they do take out if you'd rather. The food looks the same when it was pizza amore. But the wait time has tripled then what it was. I could place an order about 30 min out and 8 out of 10 times it would be ready when I came to pick it or I'd wait a few minutes. Now, when I order an hour out I'm still waiting another 30-45 min after I arrive. Not worth it anymore More...

No beer sold here. I had two slices of pizza with tea. I never order pizza without beer. Pepperoni pizza was below average vs other places in Wake Forest. I can't recommend it.

Expect a very long wait to get your pizza waited after arrival to pick up pie another 30 minutes and still no food. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere .

We've been sitting here for almost 1.5 hours waiting for an order we placed for eat-in. The staff is overwhelmed with DoorDash orders as well as call & walk-ins. The pizza is delicious, nice crisp crust delicious sauce, ratios were good. My biggest complaint with this place and the reason for the 3 star rating, NEVER EVER DO YOU PUT CANNED MUSHROOMS ON A QUALITY PIZZA!!

I'm sad there was a change in management and the chef. The food quality had significantly gone downhill. Pizza amore had better flavors and food. I recently ordered a chicken parmigiana to go. The chicken was burnt, dry and flavorless. The cheese on top was extremely thick and not melted properly. I am willing to give it another try but so far no good. More...

Nice little pizzeria very cozy spot I tried the food from this place looking for a new spot to eat from when it was under old ownership and the food was good but after the new management took over they're foods has gotten even better pizza is awesome best around and the pastas are amazing The penne vodka sauce is 100% recommended a must try

George's Pizzeria is formerly Amore's and was purchased recently by a new owner. It has been renamed and nothing in terms of the interior has changed and the pizza is pretty much the same as before. We got an order of Mozzarella sticks, antipasto salad and a large pepperoni pizza. All of the items were ok and nothing spectacular. However, for Wake Forest, the pizza is fairly good. I'm sure the new owner will change the menu and maybe update some of the decor. I'll admit being from NYC I'm a pizza snob, so my expectations are high. And, its difficult finding really good pizza here. George's however is fairly good and most would probably be satisfied with it like we were last night. More...
