I had the pleasure of being invited for a soft opening at this Lechon Joint and believe me; it was really incredible! Let me break down everything we had. We got a Sample Plate, Brasa Chicken and sausage, this was our shared-plate, once this dish was served I knew this was going to be a good place to eat, all made perfect… Lets start with the Lechon, meat and fat perfectly combined 60/40 and sliced small, so each was bite size, fresh, flavorful… big chunk side of lechon (roasted pig) this was their signature must try dish of the sample plate. Every costilla piece was juicy, greasy goodness… like baby back ribs. Sauce was sweet enough, for me it was excellent. Fried sweetened plantains - Really really delicious. Yellow rice perfectly cooked; we actually ordered it again with some Tostones (fried til brown plantains) Everything we sampled was above par! Roasted Chicken, uffff… FABULOUS! just as flavorful as the pork. Perfectly cooked! Not dry, not burned… just juicy and tender! Everything was incredible! Perfect Lechon spot from now on.
