Catering d'Orleans was a pleasure to work with for my wedding. They have the most delicious food, and by far the friendliest staff. You can tell they truly enjoy what they are doing by the way they treat their customers. Everyone I interacted with before and during my wedding was so helpful, had the best attitude, always had a smile on their face, and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. So many of our guests commented on how the grits and grillades were the best they ever had (and they are almost all New Orleans locals, too! ). Catering d' Orleans was incredibly helpful throughout the process and I found their prices to be a really good value for such a high quality experience. From the the first time we met Andrew for a tasting I knew Catering d' Orleans was our choice for the wedding of our dreams. We sat down and were fed a variety of his best dishes while washing it down with an elegant red wine. Andrew enlightened us on things we hadn't even thought about, including the presentation of the food. Andrew's commitment to perfection led to many follow ups,and continuous text messages at any time of the day or night leading up to our wedding day. Aware of the weather (our wedding being an indoor outdoor wedding) he had a contingency plan in place for an emergency.The day of the wedding he and his top notch staff were there earlier than anyone else ready to put together a great event. From the time the bridal party arrived Andrew and his staff were pleasant, helpful, and just beyond amazing. During the wedding the food was always hot and fresh, with guests drinks never empty. Andrew's staff was professional, courteous, they went above and beyond and were overall amazing. Andrew not only put together a perfect catering experience, he also helped with the actual execution of our event. Our family and friends continue to compliment the food from the wedding. Seriously, 5 stars all around.

I never thought I would be obsessed with my wedding caterer, but Andrew and his team proved time and time again to go above and beyond the call of duty from the moment we met him at the tasting, to even the day after the wedding when everything was said and done.

The day we had our tasting it felt like being in the presence of genius. Not only did he get energized and excited by working collaboratively to execute some of my wilder creative ideas (like having a champagne flavored Jell-O shot with pop rocks!) but found inspiration in the smallest details to create a truly personalized menu. For example, my husbands name is Joe and mine is Mo, and when he heard that he said "oh, we have to do a Mojoe coffee shot as a little signature drink" - and it was a hit!

Andrew was responsive at every request we threw at him, even up until the very last minute. I actually write for a very popular blog on customer support, and as a bit of an expert in the area I must say that catering d'orleans offers 5 star exceptional service at each opportunity.

But really, all in all, it all comes down to the food which is where Andrew and catering d'orleans truly shines. The food. Was. Phenomenal. Our guests kept raving about it at every moment, it was definitely a standout, and some of the best food I've eaten in NOLA- a high compliment for such a food-centric town, and really quite remarkable for 100+ people at a wedding.

I don't just think it would be a great idea to book catering d'orleans for your wedding/event - I think it would be a mistake not to. On such a stressful day and time of your life, the last thing you want to worry about is food. I cannot recommend them enough. More...

Catering d'Orleans has the most amazing chef and staff. Chef Engolio and Robert Lewis will go above and beyond the call of duty. The food and the decor is amazing.
