We utilized Catering by Vest for my mother in law's repast. Because my mother in law passed in another country, the scheduling of her services was difficult because we had to work with federal agencies on her return. Catering by Vest was extremely flexible and sympathetic to our situation. The food was excellent and service was outstanding. Their website had multiple menus to choose from and we were allowed to make alterations. During our difficult time, this company took the stress out of planning the event and we are extremely grateful. We plan to use them for all of our events in the future. Thank you Ms. Carol! More...

What’s your signature dish?
Herbal roasted chicken infused with fresh herbs which is moist and flavorful and just enough different to wow the guests.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I first talk to the client to get an understanding of their desires, vision and budget constraints. Then I build an initial proposal with a sample menu as a starter. Many times, I get it right with the first try, but I truly work with client in perfecting it by adding and modifying until it is perfect.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that once the event comes together, we can vividly see the results of the work, challenges and love which went into an event. It could be as simple as a corporate luncheon honoring staff or a wedding with all the whistles and bells. To be involved with a production from start to finish; from the mere ideas to the ultimate outcome--and then witness it firsthand is indeed rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My husband Chef Thomas began the firm years ago. It was initially a part time venture born out of a love for cooking and great cuisine. I joined a number of years ago to manage the front of the house and client fulfillment. I enjoy working with clients to make sure their wishes are honored. It could be a funeral comfort meal; a retirement party; family celebration or a smashing gala - it involves some level of thought and creativity which has been my strong suit.

The bottom line is that we truly care and yearn for perfection. Their event becomes our personal mission if entrusted to us.
Wedding Catering
We love weddings and handle many every year. From relaxed and casual to high end and everything in between. We work with clients to make sure that we understand their vision -- then work to achieve it.
We are full service, but will work with clients who contract certain services out such as decorating. The main focus to provide great services at a reasonable cost.
Celebratory Occasions
Give us your vision for your special event and we will go to work to make it happen. From great tasting food to professional service, we aim to please.
We can provide drop off and set up services, drop off plus as well as full service. Full service includes cuisine, staffing, rentals, logistics and more. We work with your idea and theme to make it a reality for your special day.
