Maoz Vegetarian has been around for a long time, every time I go to Roosevelt Field Mall, I end up getting the falafel bowl here. Kale, tabbouleh, beets, broccoli, cauliflower with a little garlic/tahini drizzled on top. Light, filling, yummy. Used to get the pitas and the fries but too much. Got the vegan shawarma bowl and it was fantastic ! You can have greens or rice on bottom and then add any of the toppings you desire . My preference is Israelli salad, beets, pickled onions!! Amazing. It's fast food at its best. You can sit Indoors in the food court OR there is a nice outdoor area you can't sit as well. So many options in the food court . A warning to prospective customers. A few weeks ago boyfriend and I got falafel bowls, rice pudding, and green juices from this establishment. About 4 hours later we started experiences odd symptoms from the food. Our stomachs hurt. I vomited for hours because of it, all throughout the evening. Due to the food, I was sick for two whole days. I thought I should reach out to explain what happened instead of writing a review. At first, that's what I did. I shared multiple emails with the owner and was told I would receive some compensation for our experience. I have never received the compensation I was promised, and after a couple of emails back and forth, the owner stopped answering me. I sent a follow-up email 2 weeks later, and still nothing. Maybe they're cooking with old oil or storing the food incorrectly. I can't be sure. All I know is we spent about $50 to feel sick for days due to eating their food. More...

OMG, Maoz, how I have missed thee! It's been a long time since I've visited and I promise not to stay away for so long again! Seriously, this place is fantastic. I used to go to the one in Manhattan all the time (pre-covid) and now that location has closed. I'm so glad this location, in the Roosevelt Field Mall Food Court, is open and thriving.I usually just get their falafel sandwich but didn't plan on eating it right away, so got the Falafel Bowl instead. Great choice for just $11.99 (excluding tax). The bowl includes your choice of rice or salad, type of Falafel, and whatever you want from the salad bar. They had a choice of traditional Falafel, Jalapeno Falafel or a baked Falafel Burger. I chose the Jalapeno Falafels and they were terrific! You get 5 falafel balls and they're made fresh to order, and kept it's crispness until I got home, almost an hour later. The ingredients from the salad bar were really fresh and tasty. They have a bunch of sauces to choose from; something for everyone. I picked the spicy green sauce, tahini sauce and garlic sauce. All the sauce were terrific and I enjoyed the heck out of this Falafel Bowl! HahaCustomer service was friendly and helpful. The food areas were very clean and sanitized. Located at the Roosevelt Shopping Center. Ordered the salad falafel, martini smoothie and Fries. Food was great. Customers Service was awful. Had one issue the drink was too frozen to the point nothing would come up through the straw. Politely asked if it could be exchanged the slim lady at the count became loud and got upset and stated "this is how it comes" I asked to exchange it and intentionally gave me less then half a portion. Always used to drive to the mall when I was craving falafel because theirs is so delicious! Was so excited to see they added items like beyond kebab & vegan shawarma.. had the vegan shawarma and soooooooo delicious! Extremely flavorful just like all their other items including salad toppings.. One of the few vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the food court.. food always tastes fresh & never feel sluggish after eating..I've only had their bowls, you ask for the items you want at the salad bar & they're always generous with the servings- usually have the bowl for 2 meals worth.. can ask for sauces on the side to go!
