Wedding planning can be super stressful, but the moment I inquired about this catering company, they made my life SO easy! Chef Raquel and her husband Channing were so professional and kind - they delivered the very best service and most delicious food ever! They handled everything from the food to the linens and decor and even handled some last minute issues with the venue with style and grace. They are quite the dynamic duo with an outstanding staff (our guests loved the bartenders!). I highly recommend them for any special occasion! Absolutely brilliant!! Love love love love love!! What an amazing experience! Long Read but dive in!I was planning our annual mother's week get-a-way. Food planning for this had become a logistical nightmare. Then, it occurred to me to look into catered meals. Enter Chef Raquel!We ordered meals prepared for pick up the morning of our departure. 1) The communication with the team was smooth, responsive, and easy.2) Chef Raquel was ready (despite the early hour!) and met us at the door3) The food was packaged beautifully and we were given a booklet with our order and instructions on reheating (with extra copies that she was thoughtful enough to include)4) Raquel helped us pack everything up, and was kind enough to help us pack it into our truckNow, THE FOOD! Holy Cow! THE FOOD! Everything was wonderful! From the salad, to the fish that was cooked perfectly, to the condiments and sauces that were provided, I cannot say enough about the flavor profiles of each and every dish. We had fresh green beans to die for! We had the most amazing mashed potatoes (yes, plain boring mashed potatoes were elevated to amazing!). The Taco Bar with the assortment of sauces, freshly made salsas, and wonderful meats was great! I could go on and on but suffice it to say, this was truly great, nourishing food.This catered event was a big leap of faith for us. We had no idea how or if it would work out. This rice dish was delicous.  So flavorful i literally could not stop eating it.  The suttle sweetness of apricot combined with the nuttiness of what I believe were almonds  rose the rice to a level that left me savoring each bite.  Can't wait to have more on my return More...

We could not be more pleased with the catered Valentine dinner served to our 38 guests at the Golden Shores RV Park in Long Beach on February 14, 2019. Â The meals were delivered piping hot in individual serving containers for each guest. Â We had selected two entrees, salad, mashed potatoes, grilled lemon asparagus and assorted chocolate dipped strawberries. Â The food was delicious and got rave reviews from our guests. Â Channing who delivered our food even helped us move tables because we got some rain and needed to get everyone in the small clubhouse. My aunt got catering here for my uncle's 60th birthday. The food was really good! I had the lamb chops and everything about the dish was perfect (except for the fact that there wasn't more, honestly). The salad was light and delicious, everything was well flavored. I didn't get to take photos of the appetizers, but they were really good! The menu needed to be gluten free, which was taken into consideration. I would say the one thing that was lacking was that one of the appetizers was sort of dry (it was some sort of plantain or root vegetable base, but they microwaved it and it was really chewy and stiff--not in a good way).Other than that, Raquel and her team were so kind and flexible! Chef Raquel responded very promptly from the time i made a catering inquiry until the delivery of the food. She made great suggestions with the food to tie to the theme and size of the party. Most importantly, the food was extremely delicious and flavorful. If the chef in my house approves then the food had to be amazing....and it was. I highly recommend Chef Raquel and her team!!!  Her offerings are delicious, tasty, and high end. For my buffet table, I chose beef sliders on Hawaiian sweet rolls , chicken satay, and stuffed mushrooms. She reminded me that some may not want cheese on their sliders, so she made half of the sliders with cheese and half without.  Instead of shrimp cocktail being part of the menu, I asked for assorted cheeses with crackers and fruits, to which CBR obliged. Her team is very professional and have pleasant attitudes.  They are punctual and moved effortlessly at my event.  My guests were quite impressed with the CBR Team, their food  presentation and their overall service.  Planning a personal retirement party for 60 guests is a bit stressful.  Although, I have successfully managed work related events for hundreds, even thousands of people, I realized my personal retirement party is definitely that - personal!!! Catered by Raquel handled the rental of chairs and tables and accompanying linens.  As the predictable sunny Southern California took a turn for chilly nights, I added a couple of heaters.  I called CBR several times before the event with questions and Channing of Team Catered by Raquel, was always prompt in either returning my call or sometimes, I was lucky enough to talk to Channing. I had an amazing experience with Raquel! I would definitely recommend her catering for a variety of events based on her offerings. Raquel helped to come up with a menu that suited the birthday party and theme, and our guests were blown away! Â Her presentation of the dinner made the event top notch!
