I have eaten at Cast and Cru in the past, and although the food is a little pricey, it has always been delicious. We went for New Years Eve and was very disappointed when we got there because they had three special items on the menu, and we all wanted the Sea Bass. Unfortunately they told us they were completely out of Sea Bass. That didn't leave us much choice, so we all got the prime rib, which was very good. They provided me with a salad instead of the appetizer, because I had to have gluten free. Because they were out of the sea bass, I asked /told them they should provide us with some sort of compensation. They never offered it on their own.They agreed to give each of us the shrimp/bacon skewer, I also got a complimentary glass of wine. I was disappointed with the dessert. I expected a decent portion of chocolate mousse, only to find that we got a small merangue with a dab of the mousse and something else. They never adjusted the price, even though we couldn't get the sea bass. Our waitress was very nice, and I felt badly for her, because it wasn't her fault that they ran out of food. The meal was excellent however in our party of four no one had hot food. I sent my ravioli back to receive another plate very quickly that was just slightly warmer. As a former restaurant manager, I would suggest to make sure you are plating your food onto hot plates not cold plates as the food gets cold rather quickly otherwise More...

We went out to visit the Christmas pop up bar at the log theater then went inside to Cast & Cru for dinner. The Christmas bar is just adorable and highly recommend everyone to take a peek. Then stay for dinner at Cast & Cru...you can get in relatively easy...food is great and whats really nice is atmosphere is not so noisy ...can visit and great for a large group of people. More...

Food is excellent. Service was perfect. Didn’t attend a show but the ambience was heightened by an upcoming show. The lobby bar and lodge bar outside were full but the restaurant was quiet and comfortable.

Oh my goodness, we were so pleased with everything about Cast and Cru! It was our 38th anniversary that day and we were greeted with a glass of free champagne - so nice! My husband ordered the Surf & Turf and he couldn’t stop saying how good everything tasted. I had the Smoked Beef Brisket and it, too, was fabulous! Such a super friendly great server, too! Dinner was great however the play "5 presidents" was terrible.And at $35 a ticket......I would give it one more try if I knew the play was better as it's a great venue for dinner and a play.

There were four of us gals, and we walked in after the afternoon matinee of "The Savannah Sipping Society" (which, by the way was excellent! !). The restaurant is lovely and the bartender delightful and great! We ended up splitting burgers and fries and they were delicious! Burgers cooked to perfection and fries just plain out of this world! This place is on the radar! It's restaurant and bar is a lovely mix of comfy ambience, upscale but not snooty! Yummy food, with flair, a relaxing bar and very pleasing approachable staff . .... Great place for dinner, dinner and show, a night cap, great late or early appetizer...not to mention some much needed privacy away from the beach and water crowds down the road. Love it! The atmosphere at Cast &Cru is down to earth and relaxing. We were seated quickly (had a reservation) and the service was prompt, polite and friendly without being pushy. The food was extraordinary and pushed the boundaries with just enough modern twists to give your palate a surprise without being overdone or cliche. We particularly loved the pork belly bao buns and duck poppers. For our mains I had the halibut which had an amazing acidic kick to it that really was fantastic. Desssert was phenomenal and I highly recommend their new sundae with the salted caramel ice cream. Overall it was great and I'm quite certain we'll be back there soon!! More...

This was my second visit to C&C. Like the first time, the staff was very friendly and engaging (two of my dinner companions are frequent visitors and are planning a wedding there next fall).
The drinks were very generous, and the bartender shared some of the "experimental drinks" he was putting together. The apps were tasty and served hot. The dinner, however, was not. Three of the entrees at our table had to go back because they were cold, and mine had to go back a second time, (and after the 2nd time was just replaced) before it was at proper serving temperature. Needless to say the other three at the table were done with their dinner about the time mine came back the second time, so I have a very filled box of leftovers. I wasn't paying the bill, but I do not remember the one who was saying anything about any discount being offered for the cold food (and the server never offered a dessert or after dinner drink on the 'house' to compensate).
I'm sure this was just an anomaly (the other people at the table couldn't remember it happening before), but thought it was an opportunity for improved customer service missed.

Went here with 2 others for Mother's Day Brunch. It was fantastic! Have been to other places for brunch that were too crowded, ran out of food, or didn't have good "bang for the buck". Cast & Cru had a very pleasant ambiance, great customer service, and I got full before I could try all the food choices. $30 for Mother's Day Brunch was well worth it, and my mother liked that you could look out the window at nature instead of a parking lot. Sunday Brunch is our favorite so far. Great service and plates removed when empty to make room on the table. Couldn't ask for more. I would recommend to everyone.
