I'm passionate about helping people create a healthier lifestyle! I love helping my clients realize their potential and accomplish things they didn't know they could. I do quite a bit of nutrition coaching, but mostly focus on one-on-one personal training, weight loss training, and currently work a lot with those who have had joint replacements or are post-injury.

Q&As

I use a multifaceted approach which includes elements of lifestyle changes that are unique to each client. However, elements always included are a nutritional assessment with any necessary eating changes, and a training program that best suits each clients' lifestyle.

Consistency. Nutrition. A good program. And sufficient recovery.

This is going to sound corny but I swear this is the sweetest part of my work: seeing the absolute joy and light in a client's or member's face when they just did something that they didn't know they were capable of doing. It's amazing. Never gets old.

My own weight loss journey and the feelings and overall health that came with it. I never expected it to be so life-changing, but it was. My newfound physical strength was intensely empowering, but more importantly, my healthy body and healthy diet resulted - for me - in a much healthier mind and mental well-being. I want to help everyone who was ready achieve that same level of quality of life.

I recently asked those who train with me to choose three words to describe me as a coach/trainer. Top three words most repeated were: passionate, knowledgeable, and supportive.

I am very passionate about this work. Which makes me good at what I do because I don't halfa$$ it. It's important to me to be the best I can be.

I am constantly learning. There is always room to be better and I enjoy expanding my knowledge base to better serve my clients. This industry has a lot of misinformation unfortunately, and there are too many schemes designed to just take your money. It's a huge part of my job to help you wade through that and only apply things that are scientifically founded and that WORK. I like my clients to be knowledgeable too and to know WHY they are doing things. So I try to pass as much of that good information along to them which makes them well-equipped for a LIFElong LIFEstyle change.

And I do truly care that you are successful. I can't care more than YOU care. But - if you ARE ready for change, I will be your biggest "cheerleader" and give you all the tools you need to reach your goals. :)

Our in-person, approximately 1 hour sessions are held at my private Rochester studio location. Your sessions will consist of a bit of what YOU want to keep things fun, and a lot of what you NEED. I assess your personal weaknesses and/or imbalances in your body and program specifically to address them. Essential, personalized nutritional counseling is included in this service. We cover what and how to eat, how to plan your meals, etc. as well as how to eat healthy at restaurants/family events and so on. ....................................................................................

Same service as my 1-on-1 training, this service is ideal for two people (husband/wife, roomates, friends, brothers, sisters, etc.) with similar goals who are able to and prefer to train together............................................................................................................................ A unique, remote training program created by me and specifically designed for those who desire an intelligent, progressive program that gets results. This option is ideal for those who maybe travel a bunch, or prefer training at home, or already belong to a gym of their own. Olympic weightlifting is one of my most favorite things! I am a Level 2 USAW certified coach and have been teaching athletes to Snatch and Clean & Jerk for about 5 years now.
