What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Musical knowledge is one the most important qualities of a DJ. You should definitely test their knowledge of music. A DJ's challenge is to recognize the different crowds and how to adapt the music to the crowd. A DJ should make the event or wedding entertainment memorable. If they can't immediately name or identify popular songs, then you might want to look elsewhere. For example, if someone comes up and requests a Disco song, what would you play? Just fill in the blank with different music categories. Another example, play something we can 2-step to.... Any good DJ should be able to answer these questions without hesitation.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Have you been to a wedding and heard the comment "They hired a DJ that had the cheapest price". Then, the horror stories begin! The DJ's sound system was horrible, played heavy metal during dinner, didn't have the correct song for the first dances, mispronounced the names of the bridal party, and finally didn't play any of my requests. These are just a few examples of DJ mishaps. Most likely, the couple just hired the DJ based on price, without checking them out or their experience.
Choosing a DJ should not be a rash decision, it should be given a lot of thought. If they can't provide references, talk with you in person or even provide a wedding planner, run for the hills! Most reputable DJ's will provide these things without reserve.

With Weddings, using my experience and skills to give the brides a good experience with her wedding. Plain and simple.
When it involves Karaoke, motivating people to sing and seeing the smile on their face when they do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A DJ Company that provides Excellent Entertainment combined with good customer service skills?
Here are few points to consider. Do they promptly return your calls and/or emails? You should expect to get a call or email back within 24 hours. Do you feel comfortable with the DJ after talking with them on the phone or meeting them in person? Finally, the DJ you choose should be very open about what he/she can do for you and volunteer information and show you their knowledge base.
