When we moved to Rock Hill 18 months ago. I was looking for a small independent pharmacy such as I enjoyed in my previous small rural hometown in NC. I walked into Carolina Pharmacy and, to be honest, I was put off by the scarcely stocked shelves and general dowdy feel of the place so instead I set up a prescription account in Walgreens. About six months later Carolina Pharmacy was about the only place my husband and I could get Shingrix shots , so I revisited. Within five minutes I was totally sold on the place. The staff here are absolutely LOVELY!!! They work for you and with you, they are efficient, amazingly friendly and ultra knowledgeable. The reason they don't carry lots of non prescription items is because they simply cannot compete with the adjacent CVS and Walgreens. Needless to say I transferred my prescriptions and have never regretted the move. Most importantly, I'm back to my small town pharmacy concept, where the staff know you and have rapport.
