I recently found out about this restaurant through a friend. I've eaten there twice and each time meal was simply delicious. The Oxtails just melt in your mouth and the rice and peas is to die for. The jerk chicken really reminds me of the jerk chicken from Jamaica which is always good when they say its jerk chicken and it really has that authentic taste. The beef patties are so good. My husband took me to try this place twice and both times the experience made me want to go back to try something else because the food is so good. I had the oxtails and I was like this is the best Oxtails I've ever had. Then I tried the jerk chicken and it reminded me of the first time I tried jerk chicken while I was in Jamaica. The plantains are amazing as well and I really enjoyed the cabbage and the rice and peas. I also like the Jamaican drinks they sell. I don't get to try those often so I'm glad they had them in stock. This diner and carry-out is one if Houston's hidden secret. Once you find this resturant location, it quickly becomes your favorite place to dine. The food is delicious, with an appetizing Caribbean flavour, the menu has many choices, from meat lovers to vegetarian. The staff is friendly and courteous, they aim to please. I found out that the owner is always there working ..an if there are any thing to your taste leave an order or call a day or so they are very felixable to make your meal more personal, I am not a big eater but my serving was large an customer service was great even better when I left her a small tip. .It's not always about what you are spending, But just to know that you can get out pregnant or lonely , an sit enjoy someone cooking..Wonderfull place would make recommends just call a day for perfection coming! I had never had this kind of food before so I really have nothing to compare it to, but it was my first time in Houston visiting my best friend. We got one of the vegan dishes, I believe it’s called roti, and I was in love. Craving it now! The cabbage, chick peas, potatoes, plantains—all delicious. Food is good. The jerk chicken taste authentic. Portion to price ratio is great. Although they need refinement in the service sector, you don't go to a "hole in the wall restaurant" for the service, you go for the food.

Stewed Salmon,Curry Potatoes, Plantains, Homemade Veggie Patties, and Coco Bread. It was all super delicious. The textures and flavors were so amazing. And the portion sizes were good.
