My expertise is in assisting clients to adjust and navigate the dynamics of family life, and the maze of lifestyle decisions. Social and family issues can contribute to stress and anxiety which can be exhausting. Counseling with Interventions aimed to increase one’s Emotional Intelligence while incorporating the Positive Psychology approach will minimize unhealth thinking and behavior, develop a more optimistic attitude that will enhance, rather than disrupt one’s life. As a therapist and counselor, I have used a variety of exercises or strategies to help my clients identify their own positive traits and strengths thereby improving their ability function in a productive matter. Likewise, as life altering events and everyday stressors affect us all, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapy techniques have been found to be useful and practical. Stress, anxiety, and depression among other distressing emotions are not uncommon; however, we all have a choice as to how our future is impacted.
