Cara D'Emanuele Studios

I have studied with Cara for over 10 years, taking private coaching in voice, acting, and auditioning as well as being involved in numerous productions with her, both in the cast and as a part of the creative team. She has helped me grow as a person, an actor, and an artist. I gained confidence I never even knew I had. As well as helping me prepare for my college auditions (I am currently an acting student at Emerson College), Cara was, and continues to be an extremely influential piece of my life. She has taught me how to find the perfect cut of songs and monologues, what to wear to an audition and how to act in an audition. I first met Cara when she was directing a show I was in during High School and I've continued to work with her in college and now as an adult. I learn so much in my lessons and feel like I make improvements each time we meet - they're truly my favorite part of the week! Cara D'Emanuele is extremely passionate and dedicated to her work and her students. She taught me to work hard, stay disciplined, and to appreciate my instrument. She helped me gain confidence both as a performer and as a person. Cara encouraged me as a jazz vocalist and deepened my love for musical theatre and jazz standards.
