What makes a great website?
We believe in Warm Welcoming Websites (the new WWW). A great website welcomes a user in, engages them and provides valuable content to their life, and motivates them to return. Websites should be an experience. We think of this opportunity as "Digital Hospitality."
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We really want to understand all of a client's needs. If a client has an existing site and brand, we dive deep into those resources. We also meticulously research competition. Typical questions for us might include:
- Describe the goal for your website. What do you want visitors to do or learn?
- Describe the look and feel of your brand.
- What technical requirements do you have? How many pages? Login functionality? Search? E-commerce? Etc.
What do you love most about your job?
We love working with a wide variety of clients. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and immerse ourselves in a wide number of interesting industries and businesses. We are also devoted to perfecting the client experience and designing a new model for how outstanding creative work gets done.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We love building websites. We also love building websites in a way that is aligned with our values as a company while supporting our clients and staff members. We were founded in 2011, and we’re headquartered in NYC with a distributed team spread across the US and Canada.
