Elliott was absolutely fantastic. From day 1, he was effective with our yellow lab Lemon. The best thing about him is that he didn't do it all for us, he showed us how to properly train her and build a relationship with her. She flew through puppy manner classes and now can ever do several tricks! He was always on time, super friendly, and he sent out emails re-capping the training session with some things to work on to prep for the nest session. My two dogs were ready to kill each other. Nothing I could do to explain it, they just went crazy and attacked each other one day. I thought separating them for a little while would get them to forget about it and chill out, but even weeks later, they were still going at each other. I thought I was going to have to re-home one of them, but I found Canine Training Services online and decided to give them a try.Canine Training Service was a life saver. Elliott knows everything about dogs and was able to train them (and me) on how to get them to behave around each other. Canine Training Services lifted a huge weight off of me. Elliot did such an amazing job with our aggressive dog, Bella. She is a huge sweetheart but really nervous and protective, and unfortunately that nervousness was outletted through agressive behavior. Elliot was very intuitive and not only explained what to do to correct her behavior but also explained to us why she was behaving that way in the first place. It was apparent right away during our first session that Elliot genuinely cares about the animals that he trains and he puts a ton of pride in the work he does. On top of all that, his rates were easily the most reasonable in the industry, at least for the area we live in. Best decision I could have made for me and my puppy! Elliott has made such a big difference in our lives!!! My little Chorkie was a barker and pretty aggressive. I now have the tools to get and keep his attention. He behaves himself and is such a good dog!!!! I am a single mom so my budget for dog training was nonexistent. What do you love most about your job?
Getting the results my clients expect. If a dog trainer cannot get the desired results in a timely manner then they are not a skilled trainer. I pride myself on achieving the lasting results my clients need in a timely manner.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I realized people were being over charged for training services and wanted to change that so more people could benefit from dog training. Which is why I charge less.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have extensive experience in applied behavior analysis and worked as a field supervisor for a dog service company. My rates are significantly lower than most all dog training providers. I do this so that most anyone can afford dog training.
Basic Obedience Training
This kind of training is for dogs who do not have aggressive behaviors but need some training in basic obedience. Training to sit, stay, not beg, not bark too much etc. Typical things you would teach any dog. My clients usually have 2-4 sessions a month depending on their preferences.
Canine Rehabilitation
This kind of training is for dogs who have aggressive or reactive tendencies. Meaning when they see or encounter another dog or human they become aggressive or engage in destructive behavior. This kind of training is also beneficial for dogs who have been abused and need help to overcome their previous negative experiences.
Service Dog Training
All of us need extra support at some point in our lives. If you feel that you would benefit from the support of a service dog or emotional support animal I would be happy to help! Whether you have a physical, emotional, or mental health condition I can train your dog to assist you in the most difficult of circumstances. I really enjoy providing assistance and comfort to those who need it. Rest assured any personal information you may share with me about your condition(s) will stay with me. As someone who worked in clinical psychology for years I understand the need for confidential information to stay confidential.
Personal Protection Training
This kind of training is for people who would like some extra security in their lives. Personal protection training teaches your dog to protect you and your loved ones on command. This includes bite and release, tracking a dangerous target, or even setting a protective perimeter. The training is catered to your needs and every dog is different so the training will vary depending on your life style and needs.
