This is our 2nd experience boarding at Camp Bow Wow and NEVER AGAIN!!! My 5 year old Husky was picked up, after only 3 days/2 nights at camp and he was COMPLETELY COVERED on all 4 of his legs and paws in Urine! !!!! He had to have been covered in urine since his first day, because when I picked him up, he had been licking his paws so badly to get the urine off, that he had horrible and painful hot spots on his paws!! My dog has NEVER had urine on him like before and I was so angry!!!!!!!!!! I called the very next morning and spoke to the manager, Ashley. Not only was she super defensive and rude, she refused to listen to my concerns and my instructions to clean their floors better!!!!!!! I also demanded a refund of $25 to cover the bath he had to get again the very next day and although she agreed, it's been a week and I still haven't received it. I could understand a tiny bit of urine from all the dogs he is surrounded by, but this amount of urine was absolutely EXTREME and so unsanitary and absolutely disappointing!!!!!! Also, as a manager of a business, that young lady Ashley has a whole lot to learn!! She needs to learn to listen and to understand a huge concern such as my very clean husky being so covered in urine like that!!!!!! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR A DOG TO BE COVERED IN URINE ON ALL FOUR PAWS AND HALF WAY UP THE LEGS AND ON HIS UNDERNEATH FROM HAVING TO LAY IN URINE!!!!!!! These guys take such great care of our fur babies. I love that we can leave for vacation and log into the portal to see how our boys are interacting with other dogs. Boarding is great! The staff controls all of the dogs with kindness, and is attentive to keeping playtime under control. Paisley is a cuddler, so we have the staff do one-on-one time with her while she's there. The facility is very clean and Paisley (and all of her bedding) comes home washed and clean too! I absolutely LOVE this place! My little girl loves going to Camp and having a blast in the small dog yard! They even have bath or nail trim options, which we have done. The staff are all super nice and professional, and when we board here the staff always know her name. Brenda (the owner) is a really sweet woman and really seems to care about the well being of the dogs. She even takes my girl back to the yard herself sometimes! The employees at this location are consistently the same when we arrive to drop off and pick up our dogs. This gives us a peace of mind knowing that they know our dogs' behaviors and personalities well, especially since both our dogs have some anxiety and eating issues that can be complicated to explain initially.

We’ve only been once for our trial day but I already can’t rave enough about Camp Bow Wow. After a discouraging experience at another doggie daycare, both my pup and I were worried about trying again at Camp Bow Wow but she had a fantastic time. I was put at ease by the slow easing-in process where she slowly integrated into a group of other dogs. Loved being able to keep an eye on her on the cameras. 5 stars ⭐️ Highly recommended I have an American Fox Hound and she loves going to camp bow wow, she I always excited to me when I pick her up but Heidi never wants to get in the car to go home. I get to watch her all day on the doggie cams it’s great and at the end of the week she gets a good bath . My husband and I work during the day and we are unable to give Heidi the attention she needs so the daycare really comes in handy. My dog is a rescue with severe separation anxiety and isolation distress. He is sadly also afraid of many people because he was in a small kennel throughout his puppyhood instead of being properly socialized. We are working with him to give him positive coping skills so he can eventually be crate trained but right now it’s very traumatizing for him which is where CBW comes in. Some might say he’s there too much but the bottom line is he needs socialization with dogs and people on a regular basis if he is ever going to be a happy well adjusted doggy. We also try to put him in “no fail” situations as much as possible because a confident dog is a happy dog. CBW has been amazingly understanding of my big guy and has done everything they can to make Hagrid feel comfortable when at camp while also providing clear communication of any issues should they pop up. When I first got him I never would have imagined he would have come as far as he has and I give CBW a lot of the credit for it. He loves daycare and even if he’s been three times in a week he will still wait by the door to go again! Thank you CBW! More...
